I LOVE your Thrive cooking videos!❤️ That taco soup looks so good and I look forward to more Thrive cooking videos👍🏼 Those that do not like those videos can skip them, so I don’t know why they feel the need to gripe!🤷♀️ God Bless🙏✝️😊
I love your Thrive Life recipe videos! I became a preferred customer a couple of weeks before the Spring sale so I could take advantage of the early ordering. So glad I did! Because those strawberries "sold out" the first day! Even though the Simple Plate meals weren't technically on "sale", they do have a two or three Simple Plate meal bundles that include FREE Snackies! And, who doesn't like free?! I have two teenage boys that haven't had the desire to help mamma fix dinner for many years. They were only interested in when dinner would be done. With Simple Plate they get to pick out a meal and then they help me make it! It's a time saver and I have my boys back in the kitchen for dinner, so Thank You!
I really like your wife. She is sweet, kind, compassionate and u can tell that she allows our Lord and Savior to work and live through her. I am definitely interested in Thrive, I will be checking out the website especially for the cheese Cheese is soo expensive and to have it this way that doesn't spoil is amazing to me.
Hi Bill & Elizabeth! Just discovered your channel a few days ago! You both are incredible! Here is a laugh for your morning... on one of your cubicministove videos - I saw what looked to be 20 +cans of PAINT! What are you going to do with all that paint? Oh.... it's your supply of THRIVE!!! hahaha
Yeah, you're not the first person to ask why in the world we would have shelves full of paint cans in our living room! LOL We use Thrive everyday in our cooking, and in our tiny little place, that's the only place we have to store them!
Thrive would be so good for my grandmother who has very bad arthritis. She can no longer chop onions or other vegetables and her diet has become very basic. The soup looks nice ☺
Looks so YUMMY!!!! I need a Bill!! Haha!! I don't think they makes Bills like yours anymore Elizabeth, your precious too.....God Bless You Both!! Sending Hugs and Prayers from Kentucky! *Deb*
Dear Bill and Elizabeth thank you for turning me on to Thrive Foods. I don't enjoy all their items, but the ones I like such as the red pepper, mushrooms and chopped onions are full of flavor. They also save me lots of prep time and money since they don't spoil on me. Keep up the good work.
I have little tables that appear to be the very same as yours. I do not have a tiny house, but such tables can be very helpful at times for various reasons.
This looks wonderful! And I have to agree about the sweet corn. I never thought I would want to snack on corn but with Thrive Life corn I do. It looks like I'll be ordering corn to snack on.
I love my Thrive Life, and finding ways to use it all the time. Since everything in this recipe is freeze dried, I'm thinking this would be a great Christmas present, packaged in a cute container. And this looks delicious! And SO easy!
I ordered my thrive food yesterday can't wait to try it out, it was your beautiful looking omelet video you did that sold me. haha. I have been thinking I need to prepare for hard times, Since the Ice storm a few years ago I keep thinking I'm going to do it, and now I'm finally getting on the ball. Thanks this soup looks delicious, and I think I might actually have ordered most of the ingredients to try it, Thanks Bunches.
I love Thrive! It’s so fresh and convenient. I’m disabled and it has made it much much easier for me! I have canned a lot and dehydrated too but I like freeze dried the best! I will try this taco soup. We like to eat it with Fritos corn chips - like a dip.
Yes... T.V. Trays rule... way better then a table because you can move them around... And watch T.V. at the same time....... :-) That is what I use... & I love them.
Hey Bill....💡 .....idea.....regarding sunroom...depending on your financial situation..can you remove the sunroom ? perhaps use whatever you can from it for scraps and in its place attach a insulated garage/small pole building type structure. Dont know if you need any special inspections for this and even a large insulated bare sheetrock walls attached garage should be a possible now or the near future.... Its the way I would go.
Hey Bill, I think you forgot the recipe?? would love to try this!!! I am trying the green chili peppers for the first time, but the Peas are the bomb! I do love the tomato powder also! So I might make this with my thrive chicken instead of beef, yummy!
Bill & Elizabeth I love watching your videos, very informative contents. Bill with all the cooking you two like doing and the small space you have to do it in I was thinking why not make sink cover tops to add counter space. I'm sure you could design something neat. Just a thought for you to ponder. Keep up the great videos.
So guessing $1.50 for the Taco spice, the pot of soup comes to about $20.25, or divided by 6 servings equals about $3.38 per bowl. Do I have that about right, not including tax or shipping of course?
Looking at the prices of the cans it must be far too expensive for most people to use. I would always use fresh ingredients but can understand the convenience and waste issue for say people living on their own. I am not in the US but $20 for a pot of soup?
They are hand made Polish Pottery that I have been slowly collecting through the years. I don’t have a big collection...no room for a lot of pieces. I think they are so beautiful! Check on-line for them!
Watching this one for the first time - OH YUM! :) If you see this Bill - how much volume do the freeze dried food gain when they re-hydrate? And all the beef and chicken are raised in the USA, not just packed there?
Dehydrated foods gains a LOT of volume when you rehydrate them. But Thrive Life food is freeze dried, not dehydrated. Thrive free dried food gains almost no volume when you rehydrate, because is doesn't shrink in processing like dehydrated does. Freeze dried food also retains a lot more nutrients that dehydrated does. Not all Thrive Life products are raised or grown in the USA. But they are not procured from countries that have questionable agriculture practices (like China). Here is a chart that shows a lot of info about each individual product, including Country of Origin. . bkeller.thrivelife.com/files/materials/THRIVE-Product-Detail-List.pdf
@@LiveSimpleLiveFree that is excellent information re the meats, thank you! I thought the mushrooms and other veggies looked very plump compared to dehydrated.
You two are such s blessing❤️! I was thinking about purchasing a few items from Thrive, until I asked about the sodium content 😳. No doubt that their food is yummy though, just waiting for low sodium foods to come out 👍🏼
The vast majority of the food has no sodium at all added. Most are simply one ingredient...whatever freeze-dried food it is. Salt is usually not added. (There are other companies with Thrive in their name. This is Thrive Life foods.)
I am looking at the Thrive foods, and I had a thought...can these recipes be prepared in a multi-cooker (like an insta-pot)? As a FT RV'er, a multi-cooker is all the rage...if I can couple it with the Thrive line foods (because it doesn't need to be refrigerated) it would be ideal for prepping as well as for everyday!
Tinyhouse Prepper well I am about to make my first order, I'll let you know how it works out! I love that Thrive gives you the ability to order the individual ingredients and not just premixed entrees. Being from TX, chili entrees by some company not in Texas...yeah, my guy won't go for that!
We do sometimes. Not always. Praying before a meal is basically Christian tradition, not really scriptural mandate. The more important thing is to live life with a heart that is grateful toward God for providing all of our needs. Which we do. Praying before a meal just reminds us of that.
How hot are the green chilis? I have an order ready to send, but I'm a little nervous about how hot they are. I love the flavor of green chili, but I don't deal well with very hot.
I love your videos and please don't think me rude but - how is it that you haven't put up a little curtain thingy to hide the Thrive tins? It does look a little like you live in a shop sometimes - lol. Just asking, not meaning to be unpleasant.
We have talked about a curtain, but some things near the edges are already hard to reach, and a curtain would just make access even that much more difficult. So we have just never done it.
The Simple Plate meals have spices, including salt. A few of the meats have SOME ( IF they are called SEASONED meat. All of the individual foods in cans have no salt, no preservatives, no GMO. Nothing but the food. It’s all listed on the website. Go to an individual product page, scroll down near the bottom and click “About This Product.” There you will find the ingredients.
Oh yummy. Elizabeth is so darn cute hiding behind the scenes. Your a comers women Elizabeth. Lol it has to smell marvelous. I swear when I order I'm gonna order. My 30 mile drive is really becoming tiresome. -8 weather not fun. Oh yummmm..that dinner ware is gorgeous. I have my relatives in Poland on my social media hangouts I wonder if they have any pretty sets like yours. I want to start to collect some as well. Lovely Elizabeth.
Oh, I beg to differ! Thrive IS real food. And it's more nutritious than grocery store fresh produce. Grocery store produce is picked before it's ripe, before it has developed all the nutrition it should have, and can take WEEKS to transport to the store. By the time you get it, there's not much nutrition left. Thrive food is left to ripen on the vine, so it has it's full flavor and all the nutrients that it's supposed to have. Then it's flash frozen within two hours of harvest so that all of the great nutrition is preserved in the food. The freeze drying process locks in all the good taste and nutrition! It's also more convenient to use than grocery store food. Freeze dried food is the WAY of the future for food preservation because it is far superior to canning or freezing alone. We use Thrive for about 60-70% of our daily cooking, and have for years. It really is GREAT stuff!
Looks good but it loses 24 years of life once it's opened. So basically all Thrive does is save shelf space but at the size of the containers and the amount you have to use per meal, I don't even think it does that. I would imagine you get a very good discount, if not free, to advertise Thrive and hopefully you also have storage space outside of your trailer. For me, It's much simpler and way, way cheaper to dehydrate and/or smoke foods plus home canning. It's pretty cheap and simple to build a small root cellar if one doesn't have a basement. Thrive may be tasty but it's simply unaffordable and the deterioration of the shelf life once opened really makes it not worth it. Sorry guys. Love you both and hope my opinion doesn't bother you. Keep on if that is what's best for you! God bless.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, of course, but let me address a couple of the points you make. First, after you open the can, it has a one year shelf life! That means that you have a WHOLE YEAR to use it up after you open it. Obviously, because of the 25 year shelf life, it makes great prepper food. But that's not the purpose of Thrive. We use it EVERYDAY, instead of grocery store food, because it is cheaper, healthier, and more convenient than fresh grocery store food. And it is expected that if you open a can, you will actually USE it. Most people who use it everyday use up the can way sooner that one year. And I don't really even understand your point here. You say you do canning, and that's certainly fine. But when you open one of your cans, does it last longer than a year? Of course not. You use it up. You don't put it back on the shelf. You use it. And with Thrive, you have a WHOLE YEAR to use it! It's certainly cheaper to grow your own food and can it or dehydrate it. But MANY people do not have the time, the ability, the space, or the desire to do all that WORK. In comparing the cost of Thrive to the grocery store, which is how most people procure the food that they eat on a daily basis, Thrive is CHEAPER. The average family of four who uses Thrive in at lest 50% of their daily cooking saves, on average, $150/month of their grocery bill! That's because the average family throws away, because of spoilage, 25% of the food they purchase. Thrive COMPLETELY ELIMINATES spoilage of daily foods, so you save 25% of the cost over grocery store food, just because you eliminate the spoilage factor. And, BTW, we don't just get some free food for advertising Thrive (we only get a 5% discount). It is our BUSINESS. We sell it, and it is our ONLY source of income. We are doing fine (I was able to quit my truck driving job a few months ago) because we have hundreds of VERY satisfied customers who use part of their grocery budget every month to purchase freeze dried food at our Thrive Life online grocery store instead of spending it at the local grocery store. So yes, growing and canning or dehydrating your own food would be cheaper, though it's a LOT more work. But for the average person who just goes to the grocery store for their daily use food supply, Thrive Life freeze dried food is cheaper, easier to purchase, easier to use, and healthier than anything they can buy at the grocery store. And I have hundreds of customers and customer testimonials who tell me that everyday!
Not that you need another response but I'd like to respectfully disagree with the original comment. I am single and I make a LOT of soup. It's easy, low calorie, freezes nicely, etc. Most soups start with carrots, celery, onion. You can't buy one stalk of celery at the grocery store. If I buy celery every 2 weeks only to throw 80% of it away after it's wilted then I've paid for a small pantry can of celery from Thrive in about 2 months. And that can lasts for the full year, not just 2 weeks. And I use it. I could give example after example of items that I used to buy, use a little of and then throw away that I save money on now just from using from Thrive. I'm glad that canning and smoking works for you, however, I live in the city and have an active life (full time J.O.B.) where smoking and canning don't fit. So you've totally discounted the factor of convenience in your argument. Anyways, the owners of this channel have done a great job at responding and I want to promise them that I won't get into back and forth with this commenter. I just wanted to give the perspective of another Thrive Life customer. You may be Wide Awake, but even people who are awake need to be aware.
We ramp up the number of Thrive videos during the big sales, but we will back off a little after the sale is done. But our BIGGEST request from our subs is “Please do more cooking videos!” Also, since Thrive is now our ONLY source of income, the occasional Thrive video is a part of our channel. Not to sound nasty, because that is not my heart, but all Thrive videos are clearly marked as such. If you’re not interested, that’s fine - just don’t watch them. We do plenty of other videos for your viewing pleasure. 😀
Elizabeth you are an angel. And Bill as for you, they just don't make them like you anymore. Lovely wonderful couple!

Hey Bill, I think you forgot the recipe?? would love to try this!!! I am trying the green chili peppers for the first time, but the Peas are the bomb! I do love the tomato powder also! So I might make this with my thrive chicken instead of beef, yummy!
You're right, I'm sorry. I can't BELIEVE I forgot to put the recipe there. It's there now!
Tinyhouse Prepper awesome gonna make it!
I want a bowl... just text me some... That looks way good, I wish we had smell-a-vision !!! ;p
Looks delicious, is it spicy with the green chilies! Love your video’s, and you both!
No. The chili peppers add a lot of flavor, but they are mild. Of course, if you add more chilies, it would be hotter.
Love your videos and that taco soup looked amazing.

Bill, Does the soup have to simmer to soften the beans? Could I make it at a Vendor Booth on High in a crock pot and just cook it longer?
The beans are the only thing that has to cook 20 minutes. Everything else takes about 10 or less.

Hey. Love your videos, but the Thrive is getting old. To many Thrive commercials.
Tiny House PREPPING. NOT SELL SELL SELL. ANNOYING
I love the Thrive videos and wish you did more! If people aren't interested, they don't have to watch.
ce noble I agree that they can be skipped. I bet you can use garden items to augment diet if you don't have much come up or not what was expected.
Does Thrive add salt ?
