I am a new believer.. its wonderful.. it will stay on my shelf. Your dish is simple and fun to prepare. Easy peezy. I made chicken and beef pot pies and even cleanup is a breeze. Thank you Elizabeth and Bill!
Hi Bill & Elizabeth! I received my 1st order and it's wonderful. The white sauce is almost gone and i'm waiting on the green onions to get here. I like the fact that the sodium is low. I enjoyed a mushroom/spinach omelet with the eggs this morning. My next order will be to make this dish. My mouth was watering watching you's eat, lol!!! Thanks for sharing.
I was just thinking that I miss watching you make meals together-- and lo and behold!-- here's a cooking video! It makes me happy to watch you two enjoy life's simple pleasures in your little home.
Just ordered the peas, carrots, corn, ground beef, chicken chunks and chicken bouillon. I can eat rice with any of those and be a super HAPPY CAMPER!!!! Bought a ROCKET STOVE via amazon and I'm ALL SET!!! now to get my AR15 WOOHOOO!!!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
Looks good. Seems to be a good way to always have dry ingredients that only need water for less mess and less weight. Do you have a rough estimate how much that cost for those 2 meals?
That would be difficult to figure because we buy Thrive Life food in large cans. But I can tell you that it is comparable or cheaper than the grocery store.
I am brand new to Thrive Life foods. I have a large stash, and haven't tried anything except blueberries, strawberry yogurt & granola snack, and cheese bites. Your meal looks wonderful. I may have to open my cans tonight!
I can't wait to see what you come up with. I wanted to make the meal in this video, but I only have ground beef. The meats are so hard to get now. Very discouraging.
Made me realize I need to order mushrooms! That looked incredibly delicious. 🥘 I will look forward to making it! I think I’ll add a side of refreshed berries (strawberries, blueberries and raspberries). Mmmmmmmm......
That's one of my favorite go-to meals as well. I love how Thrive makes it so easy. So delicious and nutritious. That asparagus looks really good like fresh out of the ground good. Another great video thank you. till next time, God bless.
We have a shelf in the living room that I built to fit the cans for our "daily use" pantry. And we have our long-term storage stored elsewhere off of the property.
I enjoy watching y'all cooking with Thrive. I really want to load my pantry with it. Curiously, beyond the nutrient and storage benefit, I am thinking the weight is far lighter - and that matters to me...lugging groceries...shoulders, neck, arms, hands, fingers...anyone else? ...and convenience of having it delivered!
Yes, it is considerably lighter. Most of the weight of any item is in the moisture content. Take out the water, and they are considerably lighter. In fact, some of the cans, before you open them, feel like they are empty, they are so light. :-)
Thrive Life does not have mixed veggies. But they have ALL the veggies and you can mix them yourself. Alll the prices are on the website. Remember, these are large one gallon cans. bkeller.thrivelife.com
I'm wondering... since the dried meat has a shelf life if we could divide the can up into a food saver. Like, seperated the can into 1# bags using a food saver? What are your thoughts? Thanks. Love you guys.
I’m not sure why you would need to since the meat has a one year shelf life after you open it. But if you want to use a food saver, that would extend it further. Though I have no idea how much further.
Most of the items seem to have a 25 year shelf life unopened, and I would only want to use them occasionally, like camping or emergencies in dead of winter if I had to. Once the can is opened I'd lose 24 years. I'm a senior on a fixed income and wouldn't be able to do the monthly deliveries, so I thought maybe divide everything up and store in food saver. But I'm new to food saver too, so wondered if once the cans are opened I'd lose the extra shelf life anyhow? Thank you.
@@belangerdamonfamily5874 Once you open the can, most of the items still have a one year shelf life. Putting it into a food saver would certainly add to that shelf life, though I can't tell you how much. You can also buy them in pantry cans (1 quart) rather than family cans (1 gallon). And the pantry cans are cheaper than the family cans (though the cost per serving is a little higher because you are buying a smaller package). That way, once you open a pantry can, you will be able to use it up much faster.
Please be careful with your sleeves. LOVE your blouse. You are both such wonderful and sweet. And get the Berkley water filteration system :D THAT LOOKS SO GOOOOOD YUMMMY!!!
Thank you for sharing another recipe. Would be yummy over mashed potatoes too. I love 1 or 2 pot meals. Nice Canada T-sirt Bill! I'm loving my Thrive food so far. I cooked from scratch my whole life and now I'm enjoying simpler times. I look forward to using this in our future RV life.
Even if not using the products but that looked like a great recipe to try! I think I will try it with ground venison Burger! Something like it of course.. I love your videos!
That looks very yummy and I am sure it tastes that way to. We have only tried the hamburger so far, as a protein snack. That will be in our cart in the future. Thank you for giving great ideas also.
Another excellent video! Upon watching the video an reading some comments...I disagree with sleeves, fire comments..I didn't see any issues. The beautiful iron skillet covers the entire burner area. Just my opinion! Have a blessed day. It looks delicious! I would like to try thrive food.. but circumstances won't allow me too at this time.. so I move on! Thanks again!! Indeed live simple, live free!!
When we started getting comments about fire hazard... a lot of them... I didn't know what they were talking about. I had to go back and watch the video to try to figure it out. I STILL don't know what they are talking about. There was no fire danger with what Elizabeth was doing!
Bill. your Thrivelife order site won't let me check out with my order and the customer service # isn't answering. I've waited for 48 minutes so far. Is there a problem??
There are several reasons why it might not let you check out. But you didn't give me enough info to know why. The problem with customer service is that no matter how many people they hire, they can't keep up with the incredible demand.
Each one is different, of course. You can see all of the ingredients on the Thrive Life website. Go to Shop>Sauces. On each product page you will see the picture of the product. There are some thumbnail pictured underneath that picture. One of those pics is the product label on the can, which has the ingredients listed. bkeller.thrivelife.com
Looked like a good dinner. I didn't see the big safety hazard that some have pointed out, but maybe next time you should wear a silver fire suite when cooking, just to be on the safe side. 😀
@@LiveSimpleLiveFree ...I noticed the color of your drink! Doesn't it keep you up @ night or maybe it's caffein free? What flavor? Does your company sell that too? Can a person buy two starter sets at the sale price since they are just starting out? 🤔
