some benchmarking would be nice to see if it makes sense or not
Indeed. Did it not work well, maybe that's why?
But its very effective on battery live. I've been doing it for years
Well,it's just a phone shell cooler really and not something that's supposed to cool down both organs and she'll of the phone
No
I guess we have to make small holes on phone back cover for better result
To everyone who wants to replicate this, remember to use printed circuit boards and not to solder the component's pin directly or even using open wires. one short circuit from the components or wires, and near wood or fabric could lead to disastrous housefire.
5 volts won't do shit to wood
@@qwertyuiopasdf160 Depends on the Amperage 👍 creating a good version of this would require a good amount of voltage or ampere for faster fan rotation. Anyways its just from one of my experience where I used a Lithium Canon battery with 1865mAh 7.2V from my College Class where It was left for some time in my desk, burned a piece of paper and some part of my wooden table. Better be safe than sorry when doing experiments like these.
@@qwertyuiopasdf160 a Lipo battery shorting out.... Go ahead and short one out and then come back and let us know if you still think 5V won't start a fire....
@@trxtech3010 I forgot about lipos
If you concern about safety that much, you always can use some fuse on Vbat and 5v output, fill out with epoxy and you good to go.
That's so clean crafting 👏🏻
Respect ❤️
This is very well designed, i also hope you can make one of these for ipad/tablet users like me
Otimo acabamento 👏 muito legal
Good work man! Keep going with your brilliant knowledge well done
Muy Buen trabajo Excelente!! Saludos desde Houston Texas ✌️☺️
by far the neatest diy video I've even seen 😲
Can you show the wiring diagram of 5v powerbank module,so i can also minimise its size to very tiny circuit.
There is no specific diagram for downsizing the powerbank module.
You can understand the connection between the components with a little care and wire them one by one by following the example of the power bank board and how they relate to each other.
The way you disassemble pcb is crazy man... I'd honestly do everything possible to keep the board as it is unless it's absolutely necessary.
This video makes me happy. It combines electronics design with great music.
Keep it up, Penguin!
And codm :D

Wow It's Very cool, especially on High resolution video recording
Your design looks better than market ones
Wow, that's very clean.
Very professional work, Thanks my friend, Big liked+sub 👍💙💙
that's some crazy craftsmanship
. Gratidão pelos vídeos.. att
noooo
Awsome work but i think you would get better cooling if you did smaller free space between cooler and phone also if you put some heat conduction material.
Nice and tidy! Also most of heat is dispatched by screen
Very beautiful crafting!
I tried all kinds of homemade phone coolers, even using Peltier module, but the most effective was placing the fan at the top of the smartphone in a way that it blows wind at the back and the screen at the same time. With a 4x4 cm fun I could hold the temperature of my Mi8 with an overclocked kernel (NGK) below 40°C, while without the fan it could reach 50°C in less than 20min while playing Black desert mobile.
Nice. I was thinking about this because more phones are having heat dissipation at the lcd screen instead at the back case because of the qi coil
@cimonbkr6707no it's worth it, check the comment below
There ain't no way that two fans perform more than a TEC cooling system lol. I am using TEC and a fan on Peltier. You're completely wrong or you did the wrong cooling system with TEC.
I love the way you use your epoxy.
@Penguin DIY Thank you for the excellent video. I am currently building this and have all the parts as mentioned. Can you help me with the diagram? In comments you have mentioned that you will share it, but not able to find anywhere. It would be great if you can share a diagram.
The most important one to understand here is, how the 5v Power Bank Module is been used and shinked and then made connections.
Thanks Looking forward for your small help to get this successful.
Clean project: 10
Performance: 2
Without thermoelectric generators there's no efficient cooling system for mobile phones
I use this type of cooler for the Samsung s21 Ultra, with which I shoot videos for my channel videos, and it is very efficient.
At the end of the video, you can see the example I use for filming.
It can actually only a little bit, but if you use a heatsink on the phone backdoor it can be quite efficient.
Yes not effective while playing heavy games
maybe high powered fans directly over the motherboard like in my set up and it does make a difference
Love that solder iron.. The tip is hot.. Mine's not :(.. Gotta get one for smaller wires.. Love the concept though
Thanks
thats clean asf bro, nice work
Cool idea, figuratively and literally
Waooo.. ☝amazing sangat hebat skill anda , iam from indonesia 👍
Sir it's very cool. Pls share us circuit diagram of the module.
Yo solo me pongo delante del ventilador y arreglado.
Pero me encanto tu idea
Pensé que era el único 😄
Nice music video, the artist was very creative 👍🏻
Sir, you're a good craftsman !
Thanks
very precise at soldering i like that
Tysm!😊
Easter eggs in final part of video
I love it
6:18 when someone actually uses that setup :
"Hello guys welcome (loud fan noises)"
Been loving your videos, I just hope that you put caution at the beginning or something, im just worried that specifically at the drilling the hole right next to the battery part, someone may not know that it could not end well, thank you and again really like the videos and hope you make more!
Good work bro
And nice ides👍
thanks u give me an idea for may acer laptop wich is no built in cpu fan
Nice Your Work Will Working Well. ☺️
100% So Verry Nice And Beautiful.☺️
thanks
At this point buying one is more worth lol
Thats a must cuz i play games at a fricking hot phone

bro has godly soldering skills
nice!!!but would be great if u show temperature readings too while using this. both on and off of the device.what yah think?!
It's an interesting idea👍
Nice Project, keep up on it
my little suggestion, attach the heatsink to back cover of the Phone, so it has more Cooling efectivity on your phone
cheers
Yes, a heatsink might be an interesting idea.
can you do it using peltier? it would be great since your handmade project are so good.
super genious. please full describe dissemble and assemble miniature charging module. 😀😀😀
Thankful.
In this video ruclips.net/video/ZXD2Jqg4518/видео.html I have specified the exact time 2:00
"I'm writing with a translator there may be mistakes" bad homemade because the fan will cool the case and not the inside of the phone and the phone itself will cool poorly because the air has poor thermal conductivity if there was also a radiator with thermal corpses, it would work
I use this type of cooler to cool the Samsung s21 Ultra, which I use to record videos, and it is quite effective in cooling the phone. At the end of the video, you can see the example I use on my phone.
The body of the phone absorbs the heat inside the phone and with these fans, the heat of the body can be dissipated and this is very efficient.
Many smartphone have cooling system which spread heat to all phone and back cover
So , it must be effective
Great work 👍
@@PenguinDIYtry using a liquid cooler
Siempre será mejor un cooler
Appreciate 👍
❤️❤️❤️
I know it's logical but it's better to do all the markings before assembling everything
Excellent creation by the way
If only they keep the Aluminum Back designs from 2017 this would work better.
So nice work
I think it would be cool if you put a thermo electric beneath it.🤔
Cool, is clean! 😮
I like the idea 💡😂😂
If u told there's cool kids at the bar i couldn't careless! But if u told me a cool kid is in his bedroom creating this now that's my type of jam!
How to make you mini power bank circuit please make a full video
It might help while recording recording a high resolution video under the sun light 🙂
It's so delicate I love the way you made the video from the first video I watched and the music is good too. I come from Vietnam!
Sooo clean
Nice looking good

Beautifull...
The cooling fan should touch the body of the phone directly without any distance between them like that it's gonna work perfectly, I have the red magic ice dock it's making my phone when gaming temperature under 29c in high graphics games!!! Because it touch the body directly
Trình độ rất đẳng cấp
Nice
$5 below has universal nintendo switch/phone cooling fans. Works great on my iphone 13 lro max. I only have to use it once and awhile, and i only put it on for a couple min and take it back off

good but i wat it to be more cooler because im useing s22 the small phone it gets ridiculously hot the frame burns i want to make something more cooler like razer , rog , blackshark redmagic etc somthing like this. and maybe a expriment with pc radiator. like nzxt etc.
Can you please how did you the 5V power bank module turn into a chip in 4:08 can you make a video of how to do that? I need to copy that fan because we need it for a school project
If you add a wet cloth in front of the fan, the cooling will be better ❤❤❤❤إ
🤩 super
O bro ❤️
Were can I get this smaller fan's
can you make same phone cooler for me plzz
Airflow nao deveria ser para fora do celular?
very good
Some mobile phones have SoC installed at the front side of the body, i mean, it will heat the screen instead the back. And the frame at the side could be made from plastic hence it wouldn't effectively transfer the heat to the back either.
I don't think such fan would be effective for those devices. i.e. one of the newer Xiaomi phone.
Idk what kind of material S21 for the back panel but glass or plastic isn't a good thermal conductor. Including the Gorilla Glass. I'm not saying it wouldn't work, just telling how much it would be effective. Lowering maybe like 4°C is still possible depends on your ambient temperature, like if you're at an Air Conditioned room. Cooling the back panel.
Cooling both the back and the screen will increase the effect.
Using a peltier cooler will further increase the effect at the expense of electricity. The risk of condensation, and continuously blowing the hands with if not hot; cold air. Depends on which side of peltier element, the fan blows. Also will be less dependent to the ambients. Not to mention bulky and cannot be used near a surface like, a desk or bed as it will block the fan exhaust.
Maybe If somehow you can also cool the screen (for phones with SoC at the front side), it would be like the first in the world? Idk how, but a fan to blow the screen would look uncanny 😂. Putting a TIM on the screen isn't an option as well. Except maybe diamond...
As heatsink idea, i had an idea to integrate the fin with a plastic phone casing, cut the back, then inserting Aluminum plate from baking tray as a base. The fins maybe only as tall as 0.3 cm with sanded rounded edges so it still hand held-able. Maybe not fins, but squeezing the aluminum plate to 'ununun' shaped harmonica sitting on the sheet of aluminum. Or even simpler 3mm diameter metal rods soldered or glued. Glued to the plastic case or soldered to the aluminum sheet. This 'heatsink casing' covers about 80% of the back panel. So it is not tall but wide. Then you can place the peltier or the fan on top of that.
Well what a time in life to live with a hot throttling gadget in our hands.
The apparatus to make it colder made it less portable as it should to be.
I was having trouble filming with the Samsung s21 Ultra. Because after 10 minutes of video recording, the phone would warn that it was overheating and would turn off the camera.
Until I thought of making a cooler for the phone that is made in the simplest possible way and does not cause any damage to the back of the phone. At the end of the video is an example that I always use when recording my videos.
To cool the phones that have the SoC in front of the phone, the best idea is for the factory itself, like laptops, to place a small fan in the phone to optimally circulate the air inside the phone and cool the phone. .
