6 years since i saw your first video and been a subscriber since... being the coolest stuff on youtube for me as a kid, The Wrench has really come a long way😎
The backside covers honeycomb pattern should be flat shaped outside to inside and not left and right as it is now, to allow more airflow. The same with the three structural colummns inside. Those are really blocking some significant amount of air. And i think the nozzle can also be shrinked down a little more to generate more airspeed. Otherwise, beautiful build. ✌️
In southeast Asia Chinese made small fans that look like this is a very popular. They make them look good aesthetically and is used to keep cool in sunny days.
This is a fantastic project. It can be used for cleaning tight spaces, and the back can function as a vacuum cleaner suction. If you're considering giving away this project, I'd love to have it.
Super cool build & video!! However, the fact that you're using 3D printed blades is a bit terrifying, especially PLA, and spinning at 60,000 rpm so close to your face / eyes.
if you search for '13000kv inrunner jetfan' you can find inrunner ones, as big as 50mm which can do 11.1 to 25.2v so 3-6s or the standard 9000kv one for cheaper, which is the one i have They work better than a simple bldc motor as they have metal housing and impeller and spin much faster, creating more pressure too

Practical use case: drying of your car after washing it!
Great work!
BUT that fan blade will shatter eventually, so anyone making this needs to add a guard to catch the shrapnel.
Epic for car detailing
I heard you can buy the motor used on those mini turbo fans. GreatScott found one and you see it on one of his videos.
The use I would give it would be to light barbecues effortlessly 😁
