  • A day at the Pennsylvania Lumber Museum, a trip back in time to the heyday of Pennsylvania's lumber industry. In part 1 we talk logging locomotives and log loaders and lumber camps. We see how lumbermen lived and worked at the turn of the 20th century. This video will give you a sense of what life was like in Forest County around 1900 and help you understand some of the abandoned sites we visit.

Grew up in PA, spent many great times in Forest Co at camps around Tionesta, Kelletville and Tidiute, I've lived in the smallest town in Colorado for the past 29 years surrounded by awesome mountains and forest land and though I love it here, Forest county will always be nearest and dearest to my heart. Thank You for your dedication and artful productions. God bless you and yours.

What a beautiful area! I can’t imagine how lush the forests ALL were when all were old-growth! Living in one of those camps certainly took a special kind of person. Thanks again for making us aware of what life was like back then.
