    Awesome soap. The middle layer brought to mind butterscotch. I want a Werther's Original now. The top layer made me think of some yummy pudding. made me hungry. Good job Ms. Ellen. Keep up the good work.

    Oh Ellen I made Octoberfest foaming scrub, just using powder beer, powder pumpkin and carrots and scented with pumpkin apple butter, my fav fall fragrance. I love your soap so much!!! I add the beer directly to my soaps, but the one I use has no alcohol in it

    Wow nice layered soap. Love the mica lines. I too made my first beer soap two weeks back. Didn't colour it but made 2 layers. Beer gave a natural beige color and the second layer is white... Thanks for this video

    Once again, an absolutely beautiful soap!
    When I'm doing mica lines, I spritz my little cloth (I use birdseye diaper cloths) with isopropyl alcohol and run that around the edge of my mold to collect the extra mica. Thanks for the tip on how to clean it after unmolding!

    Yes this a lovely soap! I made some beer soap about a month ago with Guinness beer, the real dark stout and it came out wonderful and the lather is very nice and creamy and bubbly, just wonderful on the skin, you shapers out there really have to try beer soap, you'll love it, oh and mine heated up and cracked a little too, so check it often. Thank you Ellen 😊 💓.

    You really did a great job with this soap. Fantastic 😍! Oktoberfest is always a big thing here in Bavaria. Unfortunately it didn't take place again this year because of Corona. I've never been there myself, but it must be gigantic. And unfortunately also incredibly expensive 😂.

    • @die-gute-seife4036
      @die-gute-seife4036 2 года назад

      @@EllenRuthSoap Absolutely. But really expensive! In 2019, when it last took place, a Maß Bier cost just under 12€.Thats a lot of money for 1 litre of beer. Families with two or three children quickly spent a few hundred euros there in an afternoon. Roller coaster, carousel, ghost train etc. plus eating and drinking. Thank goodness we are about 100 miles away and our kids never wanted to go 😅.

    This soap really does scream fall, I love those mica lines to, does the speckled look come from the coloidal oats.? And isn't beer supposed to be good for your hair.? And you have gorgeous hair, my hair was that long but I had a much needed cut and it's now shoulder length and much easier to manage.🧡

    • @EllenRuthSoap

      They make both water soluble and oil soluble TD, I recommend dispersing it in liquid first so it mixes in smoothly.

      They give a very "silky" feel to the lather, and silk protiens are wonderful on the skin.

    I may have missed it but did you grow your own pumpkins this year?

    • @EllenRuthSoap

      No, I didn't grow my own. It's store bought organic pumpkin...

    • @MJ-cc4uf
      @MJ-cc4uf 2 года назад

      @@EllenRuthSoap One year I grew my own pumpkins by some rogue seeds that decided to sprout. I ended up roasting the pumpkins and the puree after roasting is so watery that I ended up using the pumpkin puree as the total liquid in the soap. The SH does turn the pumpkin a dark orange color.
