I remember watching Kids Incorporated on and off but I seem to remember this particular performance the best. I also remember this cast the best. It must have been those occasional weeks the Disney Channel would be on free for a week to see if you really wanted to subscribe. Here I am 30 + years later subscribing to Disney + and wishing all these old school shows would be on there.❤❤❤ And can I say I admire Stacy Ferguson so much for her determination and tenacity through the years to find success??? She went from this to being part of Wild Orchid to Black Eyed Peas to being Fergie. This woman has earned her success!!!
In this covered song on this show, the Yamaha TX16W patch "Vocalism & Fantasia", the 1st Roland D-50 internal patch "Fantasia" as the 41st Roland D-50 Maartist Music Pack Volume 1 patch and the 41st Roland D-50 internal patch "Staccato Heaven" as the 46th Roland D-50 Maartist Music Pack Volume 1 patch and the Yamaha TX16W patch "Fantasia" were heard.
Roland, Yamaha, Korg, and other synths, drum machines, and sound processors have come a long way. I have used Roland 505’s, 808’s, 808EX, and many others. It’s crazy how things originated!
I flew to CA in 9th grade for the first time. Alone. While there, I drove past Hal Roach Studios. My aunt took me there. I had tickets to see a show . Never made it. But as a child, I knew I was missing out. I used to have visions of my potential life. With these guys. It never happened . But I knew it wouldn’t if I didn’t move.
Lol I love the look on the kids face at 1:54 bc Fergie messed up and missed her part where it says rainbows end, you can hear the track sing rainbows end but fergie forgot to lip sync it.. his face says it all 😂
I love this song and performance, but I think these costumes are a clear example of less is more. - Cuffs, fringe, and bedazzled. Sensory overload. I also always hated that Ryan's was so different. His costumes were usually more masculine, but this stands out too much. I know these are recycled from the That's America number the prior season... lol...
Did anyone notice how in 1988 everyone could still like, wear clothes? And there's not even a drop of sexualizing children? Huh. It's like a functional civilization or something. *looks at 2023 with contempt*
I broke two VHS tapes rewinding this song over and over - LOL! Every time I hear this song brings me back to my childhood!!
So glad! Now you can watch this clip over and over without wearing it out :) Haha! Thanks for sharing the nostalgia :)
They covered the BEST songs!

Wow it old school Fridays with Kids Incorporated!
This show was lit. I used to love watching it as a kid!
Needs a tiny 18 inch Stonehenge model being lowered down from the ceiling.
One of my favorite performances - I find it very calming for some reason, LOL. Thank you!!

I wish they sang the whole song. I remembered hearing this on American Horror Story.
