I use that same neatsfoot oil on my copper iron rangers and it definitely darkened them and never dried out. I’m very disappointed that I use that on that type of leather. A true non oil based conditioner would have been better. They stayed too oily looking and shiny for my taste.
@@qltyboots I actually used much less than you did in your video. Mine are still fairley new, maybe they were not quite ready for a conditioning. We shall see as they get more wear. No doubt I can beat them up a bit more before the next round of conditioning!
I have mistakenly used saddle soap and chamberlains leather milk on mine a few times and they've lost that beautiful copper color. Is there any way to bring the color back?
Excellent polishing job! This makes for some relaxing bedtime ASMR for me, personally! 👍
Thank you for watching
Bro those look awesome with the creme they darkened a little but honestly thats almost what mine looked like brand new.
They did lighten up when they got dry. But just a little bit darker, but not much
Looking fantastic.....!!!
Thanks. Yes they really do

@@kevinkolinen6181 Mine still have the pull up effect. Did you overdo the conditioner?

Have you tried to use saddle soap, maybe a couple of times and than use red wings leather cream or Bick 4? It could help a little
How long have you had these and what was the break in period like? Just got mine!
Very easy break in compared to my other boots. Give it a few days, maybe a week or two
Which brand of cream did you use?
This was Red Wings leather cream
May I ask what kind of brush is that ?
It’s called a Dauber brush
