Hangzhou City in east China has a rich historical and cultural heritage. There are large numbers of natural and cultural landscapes around the West Lake. Xiaohe Straight Street is located in the north of Hangzhou at the confluence of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, the Xiaohe River and the Yuhangtang River. Since the Song Dynasty, this block has served as an important business area along the canal. Xiaohe Straight Street retains some historical buildings and shows the living environment of people in the late Qing Dynasty.
In this video, Tunisian vlogger Dhia explores Xiaohe Straight Street and experiences the fusion of ancient and modern Hangzhou. The street today is full of tourists and shops, and one can see tourists wearing traditional costumes and flowers and taking photos. Noting that the street's unique buildings and traditional vibe have been preserved to this day, Dhia recommends the place for a visit with one's family.

You should go to Suzhou as well. Both are called the twin cities you can't miss. I visited both places in the past. Unfortunately, there were hundreds of old buildings being pulled down across China to make way for modern high-rise buildings for majority of Chinese citizens.
