Exploring Universal Beijing: Kung Fu Panda Ride & Biggest Minions Land!

- We are back in Universal Studios Beijing to explore more of the park, including the largest Minions land in the world which has some of the cutest merch ever. It even has a full size replication of Super silly fun land. Universal Beijing also has a special effects show hosted by Steven Spielberg. We explore Kung-Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness which has an amazing boat ride. And they have a whole Waterworld land including a Waterworld-themed restaurant. And we’ll end the night with one of the craziest stage shows we’ve seen with Sing On Tour. Come with us on this adventure!

Between Universal Beijing videos 1 and 2, I think this may be the best theme park in the world. Hopefully Epic is this amazing!

Someday you two will visit your father in Spain and go to Disney in Paris or a Disney cruise outta Barcelona, one can only hope….
I believe the reason you can see the show buildings more is because the park is so new and the trees havent grown in yet and I imagine Epic Universe might be similar for the first few years

24:12 I had those lanterns as a kid! In China, lots of children love carrying lanterns around during festivals so it is quite a fun merch for children there 😊

After actually watching Waterworld for the first time in years. I wish I was here 😂. I never got the hate for that movie.
I love how the movie bombed yet that didn’t stop Universal from showing it some love anyway.

I was exactly the same with Minions. Saw the first Despicable Me. Enjoyed it but nothing special then just used to get annoyed with seeing them everywhere. My parents bought me a Funko Pop of one called Dave, so I thought I'd give it another go and I love them now!

Google says there are 22 minions in Minion Land there in China, but I agree with Peter, there seems to be far more.
Edit: Ok, I'm further into the video and there is just no way that there are only 22. They're everywhere! I love it!

The 5 min wait times for each ride is blowing my mind right now.
Not all the rides weee a short wait. We weee there on an off season time but a lot of the thrill rides were 30+ minutes
I am way too impressed with your vlog. Especially with how you are posting this as Universal is showing us the new Dreamworks land coming. With Trolls, Po and his skills, and Shrek's land. And the merch is awesome, will look into getting the Po headband if I go

That is Kitty Softpaws voiced by the iconic Salma Hayek. I definitely feel you should see Puss in Boots but absolutely suggest you watch Puss, The Last Wish! It is so well done and has so many great jokes. You won't be disappointed!

Omg the Minion and Kung Fu Panda lands are soooo amazing! Just some FYI for the KFP merch, the Lantern is actually based on a more modern electronic Lantern design that kids use during the Lantern Festival! Used to walk around with those at night and they can also flash in different colours XD The tin cup is actually based on older commonly used tin cups used by the Chinese! They use it to drink at coffee shops or at home. Such tin cups can be found in some parts of Southeast Asia too since some Mainland Chinese people migrated there. Thank u again for sharing super enjoy the vids!!! I really love the quality of the vid, audio and editing in your vids :)

Loving this series! We just came back from Japan and they have the Sing! Show in USJ as well. My kids loved it and we watched it multiple times. Very impressive. Once again the Asia parks proving to be superior 😊

Face photo validation is here to stay. As of March, 30 major US airports (TSA) use facial validation. Universal uses it at all park entrances and will be expand to rides (fast pass) eventually like Beijing. Disneyland is testing it and will expand to ALL US based parks later this year and probably the international locations as well. More public places will be adopting it in the next couple years. Say what you want about it, IE. Big Brother, but at least with the TSA, you can still opt out and use your ID instead.

Don’t be sad Hollywood has some awesome stuff like the studio tram tour, which will be no where else in the world. But definitely add this to your bucket list

@@OrdinaryAdventures Probably Disneyland are not that much different in terms of standard but Universal are doing so well at making experience with newer technology and effect design ,plus Universal BJ is one of the latest effort.
I appreciate the LCA show, as it's a modification of the tram tour at USH. I miss the Twister and Hitchcock behind the scenes at USO. I also really appreciate the Water World show. It's the best back side of water...world from my days working at USH getting to WWoHP. The view from the Black Lake is new to me and cool!
