Shaun's learning how to adapt to a more sedentary lifestyle after knee surgery. Jess makes the transition to self employment as she has started her new business. The ute and caravan get upgrades ready for the big adventure. And the weather transforms a mild summer into a deluge endangering communities along the whole New South Wales coastline.
We getaway to the South Coast (Tuross Head) then head inland to escape the flood and relentless rain to a town called Boorowa where we were shown one of the most prestigious sheep farms in Australia, then up to Lake Burrendong for some freshwater fishing. The little getaway turned into a 1500km round trip.
