What an adventure! Beautiful scenery. Can’t wait to return back to Australia after 25 years and experience it for myself. For the meantime, I’ll just enjoy living vicariously through you. All the best.
Thanks - yes, there's heaps. It'd be nice to have time to park yourself down there for a few days and just explore. There's a few roads from Badja to the coast that I want to try...
These trip are what makes exploring this beautiful country so much fun. After seeing this May be worth bringing down the landcruiser for some exploring!
@@phil6347 - hey Phil that is a bit of a broad brush stroke mate- as a conservationist we have gone on many tracks and not trashed them being very conscious of land erosion and damages. Just remember not all 4x4 drivers are the same and you actually get many that care for the environment! PS it is ‘wreck’ ✅🙏
Yes - our planning wasn't as in-depth as usual, but that's typical for riding into forests where there are roads leading everywhere. I guess, I really wanted to see where things were heading, expecting to turn around at some time. At that time, we still had a lot of day left.
Lowed 5566 I've lived down there and they were on one off the road that leads to the farm, many tracks and trails, if you get lost easy to spend a night in the bush 😀
I am always ending up on rides like that going all over the shop, and hoping I will find my way out. Once you're out then you say that was fun😁. Had a GS1200, I shrunk it to a 310 and having a ball out in the bush not worrying if I can pick the thing up or turn it around not being that experienced of road.
Totally agree. We’re also dirt novices but do also usually try and do a lot of big rides. And that is when the 1250GS really excels. Tracks & trails had never been our aim, but rather to enjoy the plethora of scenic country roads on offer.
Thanks: lovely images. I love that area- if you continue along the river instead of going up Tuross River Road you get to Nerrigundah which is a really nice hamlet with a significant memorial to a policeman downed by a bushranger. The rural scenery along the way is really good.
What a great effort! Love the commentary on this one......just like being there........keep it up :) Your biggest "adventure" yet I think, if adventure means getting lost and finding your way out :) Love your work..........on to Episode 2!
Good to see your enjoying some of the finest riding in the country, Spent nearly 10years in that same area, great country 👍 But if you didn't have your GPS it can be a concern of were the hell am I. Rule one go with YOUR gut filling and not Toni's!!! That's what it is all about having a Adventure, Loved that country down there 😀 Well Done 👏
Thanks for this, I live 30 mins south of Cobargo and this has given me a good route to take the V Strom on for a day trip. If evver around this was in the far south, look me up. Stay on my property and we can ride. On your route map my property is just est of the highway at Brogo - so you got close to me.
It took us a little less than 3-hours, which included a few stops for something to eat, drink and a discussion with the lady at her house. It could easily be done in less time by faster riders. 😀

Thanks so much! Wow, returning after 25 years away sounds like you're having a wonderful experience.
Thanks for taking us along for the ride, so many trails down that way. New Sub here. 👍

You just don’t want to end up down Honeymoon Trial in the landcruiser-difficult to turn around.
Keep your 4x4 of our beautiful rainforest roads down here, you guys just trash them ,and reck it for everyone else.

@tonyf7997 That's good news Tony, there had to be one out there.
That's the most flustered I've ever seen you pair. I would have turned around as soon as I saw "firetrail"

Thanks for that tip - it's definitely on the radar, perhaps heading all the way up to Badja.

Thanks. We had a great time and there's lots more good riding in those areas.

Thanks, you live in a nice area!
The ride from little sugarloaf onto bendethra valley is interesting
Little Sugarloaf looked great. That ride would lead to Bendethera Firetrail I'd guess - so what's that like?
@@rideday01 road gets pretty steep with washout rollers and some water crossings ending in an unreal campground with some cool sites and a cave
That sounds pretty good 👍
Haha.. Id did the Census form delivery in that area... Lemme tell ya, I ended up in some strange and beautiful places
Nice. You too would have discovered things you would have otherwise missed...😀
How many hrs did it take from Moruya to the dead end of honey moon fire trail.?
It took us a little less than 3-hours, which included a few stops for something to eat, drink and a discussion with the lady at her house. It could easily be done in less time by faster riders. 😀
You missed the 'pls fkn slow down!' sign at the end of Tinpot.
Might not have applied to us - already going slow. But if there was a sign, we didn't see one facing our direction 😀.
Yep you took the wrong turns from little sugar loaf road good luck next time
Thanks. We have since investigated staying on Little Sugarloaf and also doing the run up/down from Badja Rd, etc.... Next time...
