I saw Mr. V. in San Francisco's Bay Area over 30 yrs. Ago. Great Concert. Oh my, oh my, oh my 🤗💓 My CD player is still open for him. I have him on Spotify and often play a favorite or 2 as I drive to work.
Luther has been gone for more than 12 years now but I can't go a day without hearing his velvet voice. No one since he has been gone has been this good. I had to have a medical procedure done that was torture but I told them I would be fine if I could listen to Luther. The doctor found Luther on his phone and I finally could relax. Luther soothes me like no one else can. RIP Luther. You will forever and always be missed.

The formidable and unique way he played with his extraordinary voice was rare in his time and there has never been a voice like that up to now and probably there’ll never be. Rest in peace Luther Vandross.
