Great posting. I do wonder when MotoGP will realize the tail camera has to be raised above the rider's back, so the track can be seen... it will be the most sensational TV onboard angle, because we, the audience, will feel as if we were sitting behind the rider and riding with the bike.
I think it’s fine. With rear facing, butt facing, rider facing, front facing, and sometimes shoulder cams, that’s already at least four cameras on the bike alone (where they’re not using 360° spherical). Helmet cams will replace shoulder cams eventually, so that’s your raised camera.

All of those for downforce but "ugly af" no wonder they loss many viewers, from Dohan to Vr46 motogp was interesting to watch these days they forgot the goodness of motogp racing motorbike.

They have two different liveries because the bike of Naka is from Honda, not from Lucio Cecchinello team. Honda have this bike for japanese riders.
