Ofcourse! And I appreciate the comment! As far as clearance, the stock steering shaft works just fine with these ARH. That's a big reason why I went with these too. The only area I had some clearance issues was on the passenger side. The header has rubbed against the transmission tunnel slightly but not very much.

Without it, you'll never get them off.

quick question I just got my 13/4 American racing headers which it's 3 inches and I want to get the Bassani cutback which is 2.5 inches for my 2004 mach 1 what connector you think I should use from 3 inches to 2.5 inch
If you ordered the kit new, it should have given you the option to choose between the 2.5" or 3.0" collector at the mid pipe. If you ordered the 3" collector, then you may have to get new connectors welded on but im not sure about that tbh.
Actually once ordered the ARH 134 it doesn't have an option for the x pype to be 2.5 inch beside 3 inch. However I just look that there are bassani exhaust with 3 inch I'm not sure if that fits :( im confused what to do.
@Ali Ostad ok, so when choosing the x pipe size, it gives two options. The options are 3"x2.5" or 3"x3". If you get the 2.5" bassani catback then choose the 3"x2.5". If you get the 3" bassani catback then choose the 3"x3" option. The x pipe itself is 3", but the collector is what changes in size depending on the size catback you will use. I hope this helps.
@@loscar5oh I ordered the American racing headers since a week. And it just said 1-3/4 "3" and doesn't says anything in another side. sadly :( but I didn't order the exhaust yet .
@Ali Ostad I would just contact the company who you ordered from and ask what size outlet will be on the mide pipe. That way you know which catback to order.

@@sabinoguzman7780 awesome! thats what I got.
quick question I just got my 13/4 American racing headers which it's 3 inches and I want to get the Bassani cutback which is 2.5 inches for my 2004 mach 1 what connector you think I should use from 3 inches to 2.5 inch
I'm surprised you didn't go with a tubular K-member when you did the headers
Yea its something I definitely want to do down the road. I just didn't want to invest in that as one thing would lead to another.
@@loscar5oh 😂🤣😂
@@loscar5oh I'm going to do that when I install the headers, a one stop, get it done scenario
@@dbsimms63 that's the way to go! I like working on my car so it will give me an excuse to drop the k member again 😄
@@loscar5oh hey you can use mine to get practice so when you do yours
I just did long tubes on my 04, did you need a tune after? I’m running leaner after.
Per my tuner he said I didn't need a tune revision. It may be best to check with your to see what they say.
@@loscar5oh yea he said to datalog and it showed lean on my wideband. Probably need to add some fuel, I’m ported FBO.
What size rear wheels are they
What off road xpipe are you running? I can not find any online for my 03
Its the one that comes with the ARH headers
I'm debating ARH or Stainless works.
I cant really speak for stainless works but im loving my ARH. Can't go wrong with either or
Why didn’t you get ceramic coated?
They are made out of t304 stainless steel so they shouldn't corrode
What?
Made you go with 1-3/4?Why not one and seven eighths
@@SG-nl2uk that's what my tuner reccomend for my setup
Hey did the headers bungs come plugged
No bung was included
@@loscar5oh I’m sorry I met bung caps
Did you use MIL eliminators since you are using the off-road x pipe?
No I didn't need them as the car was tuned with an off road x pipe prior to the header install.
How long did the whole job take?
Hard to say since I did it on two weekends but perhaps 8-12 hours. Just taking my time you know.
What size tires do you run on the back??
I have 315 35 17s. Currently on my oem 17x9 wheels but I just bought some 17x10.5s that I will be installing soon.
What part of TX are you?
Texoma region
can the headers fit in normal gt 99-04?
I don't think these exact ones will fit but im sure ARH makes a set for the 2V 4.6l
Is that color Competition Orange?
Its torch red
@@loscar5oh Okay. Thanks!
Time stamp for the revs?
Sorry I don't understand. What do you mean by time stamp? 🤔
I could have done this install with vise grips
Man those stock manifolds are ugly! Great work!
Lol definitely! Thanks! 🙏🏻
Sounds good but I prefer the deeper old school sound of an off road H pipe over the raspiness of an X but opinions are like ass holes…..
Not engine sustained , engine suspended.
The support bar sustains the engine.
@@loscar5oh both correct.
@@loscar5oh I like your vids a ton, I have the same car.
why ARH over Kooks? im deciding on headers right now please help
Also what engine support brace is that?
Its from harbor freight
