I live in Louisiana and as you know, we are right next to Texas and we get that same kind of weather you were talking about… Stormy, thundering and lightning, where the rain pours down all at once, really fast! First of all, the first 20 seconds was so calming. I love standing in certain areas of the yard and just take a breather and take in the view. How I wish we could leave some of the garden for the next owners but we are told before moving here that everything has to go back to its original state. So we will take what we can with us. It’s sad because removing the back bed and other plants will probably cause the puddle to form again. 🙏💐💚

Rose blooms last longer in drier climates, so there's always that. I live in a wet state, so my rose blooms are shedding petals by the 3rd day

Hello! The furniture is made out of rattan it’s done really well for us. We’ve had it for many years before we moved here. I do change it out once in a while. I have other chairs and I do have the cushions put away put I left them out that day. Im glad you enjoyed the view from my door. 🙏💐💚

We will definitely be growing hydrangeas in Tx! 😃 Oakleaf hydrangea does really well there. Panicle hydrangea does too in the right part of the garden. Depends where we end up at hoping north cooler temps less challenging for hydrangeas. We will definitely give it a try it’s going to be fun! 🙏💐💚
