I was recently discussing this same "ugly buildings" issue w-someone. I'm in NY & NY beccome very ugly. There are only a very small # of buildings left from many yrs. ago which are beautiful -- which had the look somewhat along the lines of blds. in some of the European countries -- bldgs. w-personality & charm. Yes they are ugly looking boxes, ugly looking shipping containers now. NY has become a very ugly looking city.
