I had to revisit this video because nobody does this like you. No shade to the other gurus, but your hair in flat twists with the closure on top gives most of them a run for their money. #snatched
girl...for this being your 1st time wearing a lace closure I think you did an amazing job. & although this video is couple years older, its still one of the best ive seen in this category. thank u!
Thank you for posting this video! I ordered a u-part wig and closure but was not sure how to use them without sewing down. You have made it so easy for me. Thank you!
Honestly. I love what you're doing to protect your natural hair. I've spent most of my time today watching your videos and I'm supposed to be doing spring cleaning! Haha. You're super innovative with your styles and very descriptive! I've gone natural and did the big chops 4 times in the last 5 years and it hasn't lasted because I always get bored or want to do a sleek and straight style and can never maintain one that doesn't involve chemicals. Been natural 6 months now and ecstatic about this!
That's creative. I have to try this because I always left hair out and glued in pieces to make my hair look natural but I've started seeing damages so the clip in and band are great ways to prevent that. Thanks for this video.
WOW! Unbelievably nice looking effects with this...a while ago I tried lace front closures and it worked okay, only I had a sew in AND I was using glue that ended up having to be yanked out from all of the glue notted in there. To think, I can give my natural hair a rest! I would have never thought that getting Beyonce type hair could be so easy with a little craftsmanship and creativity! I'm so trying this installation process AND the concealer-scalp blending! GREAT WORK!!!!
I've searched and searched for the best lace part natural looking tutorial and you are far the best! I've subscribed and I will try it as soon as i take my plats out! Thanks:)!!!
I'm so glad I found this video . I have a small forehead & hairline just like yours ! & I was so scared to buy a lace closure , because I'm afraid it won't look natural . But you definitely convinced me :)
I just wanted to say I appreciate your videos. Also I like that no matter how big your fan base may be, you still find time to respond. You're not all about numbers!! KUDOS!!
i like the hair, if u seal the wefts then the shedding shouldnt be too bad. i wouldnt know if it lasts as long as they say because i havent had it that long
Me and my sister are AMAZED at this vid! You did yo thang! Thank you for takin your time to make these videos straight to the point and simple! - Briana'Lise
Incredible and Amazing! I've been watching all these videos about how to curl your hair but thanks to you I now know how to buy and what to buy. I'm a step closer! Thanks!
OMG!!! I can honestly say, I thought you traded in you lovely natural mane for relaxed hair and some tracks!! My heart was broken a little bit until I actually clicked on the vid! LOL!!!! WAY TO GO!!! You get 2 thumbs up from me!!! You're showing us natural girls that we have so many options!!! LOVE IT!!!!!
girl you killin the game with this hair!!! lol I love all your tutorials I should have found you before i went natural! you really makin me want some hair girl!!!
Thank you for posting this video! You make hair perfecting a SCIENCE! Many people don't realize just how much artistic talent it takes to make hair look fantastic, not to mention the engineering behind it as well :) That MAC concealer tip was a total GEM. I've been looking for a way to apply a closure without using glue...Subscribing now, love your look as well :)
hi...really quick and precise vid. Was really amazed at how lovely the hair looked without going thru the hassle of sewing or cluing in the hair... im from jamaica and im wondering tho if it would work for me
you can do the same method and not leave any hair out, i just prefer to. just make sure to position the closure a bit behind ur natural hairline and lay it as flat as possible :)
I love your tutorials girl! I watched your eye brow one and this one, I never knew about this and how to do the eyebrows and now i cant wait to try thanks!
omg, im so sorry to hear that! no, the closure should be a beige color. im not sure what you can do to tint it other than using concealer. maybe there are tutorials on YT on how to lighten a lace base?
Thanks so much for this vid! Was on the fence about whether to sew the closure onto the wig. This allows for so much versatility! I can either wear a leave out or the closure! Thanks for the inspiration :)
Girl you have given us girls so much power with these tutorials. I'm going to see if I can pull this off. Two questions, the U-Part wig, did you create that or can I purchase it pre-made and dying the hair, how do you go about doing it so it comes out natural and not splotchy?
i didnt put clips on the upart bcuz i didnt want to clip into my real hair. over time wig clips can damage/thin the hair from the friction/pulling. with bobby pins, i can change the placement so that no one section of my hair is constantly being pulled :)
Seriously it still looks like your real hair like you didnt even put anything in...I am in that disbelief mode that this was even a wig. That is how good you are, thank you for this tutorial.
(for other video, cause i'm honestly interested in this) your hair care for the wigs when you take them off , where you store them & how you store them :) thank you
OMG! I really like this type of wig application. It looks so real & natural & easy to apply. This is perfect for when I dont have the time or money to get my hair done, just a snap & a clip & I'm all set. How much did the hair cost all together?

Excellent tutorial! You're giving us naturals another great option for a protective hair style. Thanks girl!!
That's creative. I have to try this because I always left hair out and glued in pieces to make my hair look natural but I've started seeing damages so the clip in and band are great ways to prevent that. Thanks for this video.
Flawless. Because of your method, I'll be trying a u part and closure for the first time. Thanks for sharing!

I love your tutorials girl! I watched your eye brow one and this one, I never knew about this and how to do the eyebrows and now i cant wait to try thanks!

ur very welcome! yes, options are great~!
u are too kind!! thank you hun, thrilled u like my vids!
thanks!! glad u like it
I don't wear wigs myself but im always in awe of how women work the crap out of these looks
yea i tweezed the parting to widen it and thin the density
I love this method way better than the sewing and gluing great video :)
yes i did make it, and im not sure yet if i will do a vid on it
yes i like the hair even more after i've worn it a while
Looks awesome like a full head weave. Good job.
omg, im so sorry to hear that! no, the closure should be a beige color. im not sure what you can do to tint it other than using concealer. maybe there are tutorials on YT on how to lighten a lace base?
i clipped mine in because i knew i wasnt gonna have it in long. if you want something more permanent, then sewing it down may be better for you
glad u liked it!!
Omg, thank you for doing this vid! Such a GREAT step by step on installing a closure/u-part. Your hair looks great!
Love this Kim !! I'm get this for my auditions for the Wizard Girls for sure . THANKS FOR POSTING !!
holding up great for me. but i dont wear closures on a regular basis, so keep that in mind
Omg I absolutely love this idea. I've been trying wigs with glue and they suck!!! This will definitely be my next project.
yep im still wearing it
Thanks so much for this vid! Was on the fence about whether to sew the closure onto the wig. This allows for so much versatility! I can either wear a leave out or the closure! Thanks for the inspiration :)
You actually describe this well and you're informative
Girl you have given us girls so much power with these tutorials. I'm going to see if I can pull this off. Two questions, the U-Part wig, did you create that or can I purchase it pre-made and dying the hair, how do you go about doing it so it comes out natural and not splotchy?
That look so very very natural and it's very pretty!!!!!
sooo pretty! i love all of your natural hair videos as well.
that looks GREAT. would have never even guessed it was a wig.
i didnt put clips on the upart bcuz i didnt want to clip into my real hair. over time wig clips can damage/thin the hair from the friction/pulling. with bobby pins, i can change the placement so that no one section of my hair is constantly being pulled :)
THAT WAS THE EASIEST METHOD I HAVE SEEN FOR SURE! THANKS
THIS IS PHENOMENAL!!!! LOVE THIS TUTORIAL!
Do you have a video on how to make these? Can you make one please?? Lol and one with a side part. You've helped me A LOT with my natural hair btw
u just position the closure where you want the parting to be. or if its wide enough, you just make a new part on the side of the closure
Seriously it still looks like your real hair like you didnt even put anything in...I am in that disbelief mode that this was even a wig. That is how good you are, thank you for this tutorial.
Yay! I'm from Baltimore too! I love your tutorials on hair, hopefully on day mine can be as pretty as yours!
thanks so much, Misschelle!!
yes they are both from Virgin Hair EXT
Ghirlandaio, yo tail is just super creative...love it!!!!
i did.and if you mess up a u-part u can always take the hair off and re-install
thanks so much! yes u should def try it out!
*huge smile* thanks sweetums!! shooot, u can still getchu some hair girl!
Cheaper than a real good full lace wig......to clear that up!! U are the bomb girl! Thanks
haha no prob! glad to help!
because with pins i can change up the placement. so as to not constantly pull on the same area of hair
man!!! YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks so much Kamari!
(for other video, cause i'm honestly interested in this) your hair care for the wigs when you take them off , where you store them & how you store them :) thank you
thanks! mac candy yum yum applied very lightly
OMG! I really like this type of wig application. It looks so real & natural & easy to apply. This is perfect for when I dont have the time or money to get my hair done, just a snap & a clip & I'm all set. How much did the hair cost all together?
