    Thank you! I do this everyday. The material underneath the closure has a slight brown/orange tint to it while my scalp is more of a taupe.

    I have made U-Part wigs before, but have NEVER used a lace closure.
    You made this look super-easy and natural, so now I am not so nervous to try it.
    Thanks hun... Great Job!

  • @stylebyfash
    @stylebyfash  12 лет назад

    Thank you! You can also do straight back braids and get a flat result. The elastic band method allows you to move the closure when it starts to shift. Be careful though, wearing the band for long periods of time can cause breakage from the band rubbing your hairline.

    Great video girl, I love that hair color on you and it's like with the closure you can achieve color without having to dye your natural hair. I think I'm going to try one myself! Thanks Fash!

  • @stylebyfash
    @stylebyfash  12 лет назад

    So true!!! I never thought I would wear wigs, let alone closures!

  • @stylebyfash
    @stylebyfash  12 лет назад

    The closure is custom because the knots were bleached, the fabric is matched to my scalp color, the density where you want your part, and the hair is trained for a side, middle, or where ever you want your part to be. It doesn't have to made a certain way for it to be sewn in the front.

  • @stylebyfash
    @stylebyfash  12 лет назад

    Thank you! Yes it can be parted in the middle.

  • @JEM633
    @JEM633 12 лет назад

    oh my goodness I am so happy you're back. You made my days when the ratchet girls that thought they knew how to wear a good weave. You even put some of these celebrities to shame with how beautiful and experienced you are. I and many others missed you. Welcome back :)

  • @stylebyfash
    @stylebyfash  11 лет назад

    Not every single day. You can pluck the hairline of the closure to match your own. You can also use the "tea bag" method to better hide the knots. That technique can be found on YT.

  • @stylebyfash
    @stylebyfash  12 лет назад

    This hairstyle and color is gorgeous on you! You and I are the same complexion and I was a little iffy with venturing out with different colors besides having jet black all the time. Now I think I may have found a great color to try! Thanks!

    I was a little nervous to try a middle part, but I've seen it on others and it still looks good.

  • @stylebyfash
    @stylebyfash  11 лет назад

    You can use a weaving net. Sew it onto your braids and extend the net over the balding area.

  • @stylebyfash
    @stylebyfash  11 лет назад

    Yes I sewed the back down as well. I wear it up to 2 weeks.

  • @stylebyfash
    @stylebyfash  12 лет назад

    I like U-parts because it cuts less time sewing onto my natural hair. I feel that they are more convenient than sew-ins. I take it off every 2 weeks.

    Great tutorial! Just wondering if sewing the closure ruins the lace? I'd think after multiple sew-ins (with the closure) the lace would fray a bit?

    i love that u didnt use any glue! i want to use lace closure for invisible part, but im scared of the glue, is it because youre using a side part that u sew instead of glue? or could you make a video with a lace closure but for a usual invisible part like u used to have before?
