Thank you! I do this everyday. The material underneath the closure has a slight brown/orange tint to it while my scalp is more of a taupe.
I have made U-Part wigs before, but have NEVER used a lace closure.
You made this look super-easy and natural, so now I am not so nervous to try it.
Thanks hun... Great Job!
Thank you! You can also do straight back braids and get a flat result. The elastic band method allows you to move the closure when it starts to shift. Be careful though, wearing the band for long periods of time can cause breakage from the band rubbing your hairline.
She inspired me to get. She definitely has one of the best closures techniques. Thank you!
I'm not ready for a closure but I like my u-part wig! Also your natural hair looks like it has grown a lot!
This is so beautiful I can't imagine a more perfect look and I love how you get to the point no rambling just straight fierce looks style application ...bravo.., you have inspired me.,,
OMG I had NO idea at first that practically none of your hair was out! What a great idea! I definitely will have to try this! Thank you for sharing!
I'm not into wigs and weaves at all just like to have a look now and again at these vids to see what's trending and girl u KILLED it! looks super fly
Love your videos from your fashion sense to hair tutorials ! Your one of the best on YT !
wow i have never seen this technique before... perhaps its more natural than putting the closure on your hairline.. i love this :D
You made it look so EASY fellow guru! You make me wanna snatch these Senegalese twist out my head RIGHT now and go get me some weave, lol! Luvs it!
Very, very beautiful and natural looking! I need to get one of these closures for sure. I have 2 but this one looks like a much better quality! Thanks for sharing your technique! You are a Godsend with your vids and tutorials!!
Glad you are! Thanks for watching!
Great video girl, I love that hair color on you and it's like with the closure you can achieve color without having to dye your natural hair. I think I'm going to try one myself! Thanks Fash!
So true!!! I never thought I would wear wigs, let alone closures!
The closure is custom because the knots were bleached, the fabric is matched to my scalp color, the density where you want your part, and the hair is trained for a side, middle, or where ever you want your part to be. It doesn't have to made a certain way for it to be sewn in the front.
Thank you! Yes it can be parted in the middle.
oh my goodness I am so happy you're back. You made my days when the ratchet girls that thought they knew how to wear a good weave. You even put some of these celebrities to shame with how beautiful and experienced you are. I and many others missed you. Welcome back :)
Not every single day. You can pluck the hairline of the closure to match your own. You can also use the "tea bag" method to better hide the knots. That technique can be found on YT.
You should definitely go for it! This color gives me such a glow. Thanks for watching!
Thanks to you I now own a few wigs and closures, I love your videos!! I recently went natural and I look forward to your videos for new protective styles and this will surely be my next one live you Fash!! Xoxo
This hairstyle and color is gorgeous on you! You and I are the same complexion and I was a little iffy with venturing out with different colors besides having jet black all the time. Now I think I may have found a great color to try! Thanks!
wow i had no idea at first that you even wore closures...you did a great job, it looks really natural!!
Yes I sewed the closure down in the front as well, except where my natural hair is peeking out.
Wow, AMAZING how you guys do this! And the final look is just perfect!
i know nada about weaves or wigs as i have never worn one in my life but this is FLAWLESSLY BEAUTIFUL !
I was a little nervous to try a middle part, but I've seen it on others and it still looks good.
You can use a weaving net. Sew it onto your braids and extend the net over the balding area.
Yes I sewed the back down as well. I wear it up to 2 weeks.
I like U-parts because it cuts less time sewing onto my natural hair. I feel that they are more convenient than sew-ins. I take it off every 2 weeks.
Awesome vid! I love how you are letting your viewers see you exposed and your authenticity! You're gorgeous! :)
Love it!! You make it look so easy & flawless. I will definitely be purchasing a closure in the near future!!
UGH! I AM IN LOVE WITH THAT HAIR COLOR! looks too fierce! :D
Yes you can. Just be very careful and leave the roots its natural color to prevent it from bleeding onto the lace.
Glad you love it doll! The hair is amazing!
Great tutorial! Just wondering if sewing the closure ruins the lace? I'd think after multiple sew-ins (with the closure) the lace would fray a bit?
Hi! Yes the concealer/powder last all day. Its well into the 90's where I am so I have no issues. Lol
Girl that was a genius idea , very well done , it's beautiful !
Thank you! You have to keep practicing! Try a weaving net with adjustable straps. I find that those fit better.
This is so beautiful, and amazingly done. Your're such a BARB!
Beautiful as ever sis. Looks so natural!!
1) the hair color is on point, 2) you KNOW how to hook some hair up, 3) your face looks really pretty
Yes it can be parted in any way. You can also wear this with a weave as well. Where are you located?
I'm comfortable in my skin, so its no biggie. I'm authentic with or without. Thank you! :)
This looks really good! You have that closure laid!
I use Tresemme shampoo & conditioner. Argan oil is great for dry ends.
Wow!! I'm super impressed with this technique! I always wanted to try a lace closure with a sew in but was afraid it would look cheap. Thanks for the inspiration ;)
Good luck doll! Thanks for watching!
Lol! I know! My head is so small. Thanks for watching!
Gee, you make it look so effortless. Really nice job; however, how do you take care of your hair beneath the closure and the u-part?
wow it's beautiful! Question - How do you wash your hair with the closure? There doesn't seem to be any space for the water and shampoo to go through.
You blended that really good. Didn't even know u had a closure there.
Love your hair ! You make me wanna try the u-part too. It seem so easy when you do it.
you make it look so effortless! Real nice
Wow, you done a good job. Idk that was even a wig. Your hair is gorgeous!
You are gorgeus girl!!!!!!!!! I am loving loving loving that color hair on you! Thank you for sharing!
Geez I wish you were my stylist!! Talented & the closure looks so natural. How often do you applying the concealer & powder to the closure & ur scalp?
THIS COLOR IS GIVING ME LYYYYYYFE! Love this install on you :)
Thank you! I've been waiting on this video! Absolutely Flawless!!! Will be ordering mine tomorrow. Thanks Fash! Beautiful Pics as Always!
I've sewn my closure on twice and haven't had any issues yet. The fabric underneath the closure keeps me from tugging on the actual lace.
Love that color at the end of your video. Great job!
i love that u didnt use any glue! i want to use lace closure for invisible part, but im scared of the glue, is it because youre using a side part that u sew instead of glue? or could you make a video with a lace closure but for a usual invisible part like u used to have before?
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Daaamn, that was a lace closure? I loved this hair in your OOTD vid but it looked like you had leave out. Great technique, it looks flawless.
Yes, I have a video on that method.
I was scared too! Lol! Thanks for watching!
the colour looks great on you! Love it!! thanks for sharing xxx
I realize that I am redundant in always commenting that you're such a doll but gosh! Great work :)
it looks so good! is this your first lace closure?
Fash you have done it yet again!! out of ALL of the closure tuts i have seen you and one other young lady xohellokittypinklove have the best! dont get me wrong im not saying the others arent good but you two make it look like its yours!
Hey fash loved the video..quick question..once you sewn down the hair how would you go about removing it since it's sewn down?or do you have a video on how to remove the u part wig?thanks
Go girl, looks great... Thanks for sharing... I have a time sometimes with my closures & this method may just help me, trying to stay away from the adhesive glue for lace closures. Always 3 your vids...
Girl you had those twist for 2 days! Lol! Thank you!
Does look really natural....u cannot tell i luv...looks great!!
You make this look so easy. I have the hardest time with U part wigs so I just give up. If you are just starting out what/how would you recommend getting yourself started with u part wigs? I want to start wearing them but I'm afraid I'll stick myself with the needle.lol
I love ur videos! short and simple and straight to the point.
That is the easiest I've seen. Great job. I'm getting a closure for my U-part was wondering how to install. thanks! :)
you make this stuff look so simple !!! You're good!!
Yes, all except that small leave out piece. I don't have a problem with the makeup sweating off, but everyone is different.
Love your new hair color with your complexion!
You look stunning! I love the color and the closure loks natural.
Hi wanted to know if you made your u part wig if so can you show how u did it. Where did you get your closure. Beautiful demonstration
I love your videos....can that closure install be parted in the middle as well or it has to stay on that side
Thank you! I appreciate every comment! :)
BRILLIANT tutorial straight to the point! luv it!
My leave out was relaxed back in March.
I love that your vids are straight and to the point! Workkk
I sent them a picture of my scalp color, but the color was still a little off. I would say the best thing is to match your own fabric and have them install it for you.
Lol! Thanks so much for watching!
You did a great job!! Your hair looks really nice!!
This is genius as hell. Great job. I'm highly inspired to try this myself. Thank you so much for this video.
Bleaching the knots can be a bit tricky. If you're not used to doing it, makeup works just as fine.
I love that color on you! You are sooo Beautiful!!!! Great Video!
Its a lace closure. The extensions are a weave that is sewn onto a weaving net.
Fash I love your hair colour. Could u do a video on how you dyed the hair plz..!!
omg i cnt sew 2 save my life, u mke it look so ez. do u hve any tips on the basics of sewing, wht i need to knw or do . thanks so much for sharin this
I haven't. I'm taking baby steps with lace closures and frontals.
you whipped that in there like it was nothin! lol. I like this and am going to try it. Much easier than a full sew in and seems like less stress to the hair and scalp. never seen the concealer trick either. hmmmmm... NICE! looks beautiful at the end.
You make it look so EASY!!! ... I LOVE IT!!!
LOOOVE THE WAY YOU APPLY IT I HAVE TO TRY THIS METHOD.
