I just love how she talks about Mary calling her just "mom", so beautiful ❤️
This was very wholesome.
Unexpectedly arrived here . Though I am a Muslim, I respect your faith. BTW you are so funny. 😍😍
I wish I could live like this but without religion as I'm not religious but this life seems so amazing and nice and peaceful.
I feel you. I want this but not CATHOLIC. I love God I am saved. So if there was somewhere like this but without Catholicism I would definitely go.
yeah I wanna reap but I don't wanna sow
@@rachaelrachael7440 I would like that too
But God is why its so peaceful and amazing.
@@rachaelrachael7440 Something drew you to this channel. I urge you to continue to pray and explore the Holy Catholic Church, the One True Church that Christ Himself founded. God bless you.
Random question.
But what type of Music are nuns aloud to listen to? And are they aloud to listen to Hillsong music
I think they can but perhaps not in the Holy Mass.
❤️ thank you!
Love this!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼
Sisters ji please help me 🙏🙏 I'm India 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳. God bless you all 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
👍👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹
Thank you 🙏
Make more of these
I have always been fascinated by the lifestyle. As a little girl I used to tell people I wanted to be a nun, lol, My family didn't even go to church. I just liked the way they seemed to live on what they wore. I could never do that though. Especially not now.
Me too ! I used to walk up to the Catholic church when I was 5 years old, by myself and sit thru the services. I was so drawn to it. I always wanted to be a nun but had no one to help me. I ended up getting married young and having children. I'm so grateful for that. I'm now 52 years old and have been divorced for a decade. I was in the LDS Mormon church for many years, but at the start of the pandemic was strongly drawn back to being Catholic. I'm now pursuing getting my first communion.🙏 God bless you 🙏 I don't know why we missed our nun callings but I'm doing the next best thing now. 🙏💗🙏💗
Keep praying. God Bless.
I’ve never even seen a sister in real life if I did I’d freak out.
Why tho??
@@rachaelrachael7440 I admire them so much and am beyond impressed and fascinated by their faith and sacrifice that meeting a sister in the flesh would make me feel like meeting a piece of God.
I saw one time and she she sat near me !!!!!!!! :D
I took care of one when I did at home care she was so sweet
@@pewpewpewgirlable was she? My mom went to a all girls private school in the 60s and she said they were very strict, she said everyone was afraid of them. I don’t want to believe it lol.
I just love sr.Sara, probably 45 by now. Looks like a young bride for Jeeza.
Is peaceful community living possible among women? It doesn't seem like it's real
They work hard at it. I know many of them personally and have asked how they do it-and they work intentionally to have good and healthy relationships.
@@mbj0519 that's comforting to hear
Great job
Sr. Sarah is so down to earth. Franciscans are great.
i’m not a guy, but can a there be a male nun?
monk?
Male nuns are monks. God bless!
In the Catholic Church you could be a brother instead of a sister :) you could also be a priest
If you feel drawn to it, you can become a brother! They are male religious who aren’t priests!
Lovely chapel so pretty
What does she mean when she says she has to console and comfort Jesus? The scriptures talk about how God is perfectly full of joy
Maybe doing penance for the atonement of sins
Btw, I still have not finished watching, my timestamp is around 5:13
A pure life
How did you know what order was right for you and what drew you to that particular order ?
By learning about their spirituality and doing the come and see , is very helpful too
The Divine Mercy in the window +++
Awesome❤️
My dream life ♥
❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️✝️
sister
😇
Thank you
Thank you.
What to join will U take some girl who is Catholic? Or do U despise Catholic people??
She is a Catholic too. She will never despise anyone even less a Catholic
This is a Catholic Nun! If you’re Catholic you will be able to join! GOD BLESS! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Combat ready
🙏🇮🇳
What's the age limit of joining the Sisters?
I think that there isn’t an age limit
Usually 30 sometimes 40
How can I get to know you people more if am interested?
What level of education do you expect someone to have?
Go to a catholic church and ask😉 They will love to answer you
I dont know if it differs between orders but I saw this documentary about a swedish girl/woman becoming a carmelite nun. She was 19 so I guess you can be quite young.
Pro Deo Et Ecclesia ⛪🙏
Catholic from Philippines with ♥️
Is there an age limit if you want to become a nun?
It depends on the convent. Some will have strict cutoffs, but some will allow belated vocations. The average cutoff is around 45.
No
So, they eat and pray all day??? How do they make a living???
They usually have funding
The Franciscans are activists. Many of them have degrees and work. Contemplative nuns live off funding, but it’s much cheaper to live than a lay person since nuns have a vow of poverty, no kids, and shared housing/food/bills/car/etc
