@@fordmustang98guy No she bought it a few years later. The original owner put around 60,000 miles on it in a few years. All the years my aunt had it she only put around 10-12,000.
I used the owners manual to find the fuse and relay. Then I popped the fuse and relay box apart to see the wire that went to the relay. At the pump you can test to see which wire gets 12 volts when the relay is on.
@@Mudford I figured it out thank you so much!! Zzps instructions weren’t very clear to me nor was the picture and they never responded to any of my emails:( thank you so much for the advice!
What was the little black grommet used for that the kit came with? I got the kit and it came with a rubber grommet and Im not too sure what it went too.
I don’t remember. I would guess that it is to protect the wire where it goes though the firewall. I just pushed mine through another big grommet that was already there.
Great install! We always love seeing some solid sleepers out there.
I have a question when he cut the grey wire what do u do with the other piece of the gray wire that was cut . ???
That was a great video. I’m working on my Buick now to make it a super sleeper. Thanks for video
We are prepping for Rocky Mountain Race Week at the end of the month. Stay tuned for some videos from that event!
I own a Maroon 2002 Buick Regal LS
I’m working on a new Supercharged 3800 drivetrain for a mid-engine Porsche 944 now.
@@Mudford do you still have your 99 Buick Regal GS?
@@fordmustang98guy Sure do. I just drove it today. I don't drive it too much in the winter. I'll have it out at the track in the spring.
@@Mudford you said that originally it was your aunts car she bought it brand new in 1999?

Bought this kit to rewire the fuel pump on my 02 Regal, the plugs on the pump and the plugs on the kit are different.
I just looked on the website and it looks like there is a different style connector on some according to the reviews. I guess I was lucky.

If you were to hook it up too the wrong wire in the back of the fuse box would the car start or would it most likely not start?
Do you know which wire or where the fuel pump fuse wire is? Not sure which wire it is on my model car
