    Thanks. I watched another "beginner" guide and it was making me rebind every key and do drills like I was planning to go pro. I think the hardest parts as a beginner is trying to navigate the shop and manage items. I don't like new player mode because it gives a false sense of how easy the game will be. I tried that mode and I was just stomping everything and I didn't have to manage my courier. I tried Unranked All Pick and got stuck managing my courier and then I lost track of my character. I guess the only way to get better is to keep playing. It's intimidating when i watch others play and they have their build and courier figured out really fast.

      The builds we just get from the guide menu ^^ And for couriers I manage mine with hotkeys. I forget what the defaults are, but you can bind "deliver" and "return" which are the main 2 you will need :)
      Glad this guide could be a bit more beginner for you though :D

      You started playing DotA 2 recently too? I'm way too overwhelmed to even start, I did try it previously but failed miserably. So idk if I will. How is your experience tho?

      @@shadowgag4526 I think if you put in lots of time just mastering the basics then you will have a good time but other MOBAs are way easier barrier to entry. I wish I could take Dota2 heroes and put then in other MOBAs. The difference between playing games like HoTS, LoL, and Smite compared to this are too drastic. I feel like this game should be its own category. I login but usually logout before I even start a match because the game is too intimidating.

      @@nickstanovic haha that's exactly what used to happen to me, then I'd rather play something like RDR2 xD

      @@shadowgag4526 If you guys haven't tried turbo it might be worth a shot. The games are faster and way more casual. Sometimes that makes it harder to learn, but I've recently had success teaching new players in a more chill environment like turbo

      I've recently taught the game to a bunch of friends, so I have some more ideas. Just got some more things to test on them ^^

    Whats your opinion on bristle for beginers, friend asked me to what offlaner he can play for his first few matches... i just thought bristle or axe

    • @greginacastle
      @greginacastle  2 месяца назад

      Bristle is okay yeah. He is more of a pubstomper, so if your friend was to play pos4, you could play bristle and carry them as you know how to abuse it.
      But a pretty simple character so it would be close to the top of my list to recommend :)

    Besr heroes for beginner?

      I go over them in the video! It depends on what role you want to play. Do you want to be the killer carry? the flashy mid? the tanky offlane? or the every helpful supports?

    i downloaded the game played a match and just uninstalled i have no clue what the goal of the game even is

    • @greginacastle
      @greginacastle  14 дней назад

      You know what, I mentioned the goal but didn't explicitly tell you, sorry! The goal is to destroy the enemy base. So you start by killing their towers (the big shooting structures in each lane), and eventually their barracks (the things creeps come out of) and finally the ancient (giant glowing structure in the middle of their base)
