People don’t realize that half the managers they want Arteta to be sacked for are literally unattainable. Ancelotti ain’t leaving Madrid, Simeone earns way too much at atleti, Tuchel’s ass, Zidane’s a fraud without Madrids super team and someone like Conte who people actually wanted after his spurs stint is way too far behind in terms of where the game is today
If any of the top managers who the bottlers can't afford spent £700m and won fcuk in 4 years then they'd retire from football out of the shame and embarrassment

This guy has not achieved anything anywhere as a manager yet. The only thing this has done is put him under pressure to get that elusive major title, in order to justify his earnings. A few setbacks and he will start second guessing every decision he makes, as this would always be at the back of his mind. Few bad breaks or results he would have everybody on his back.Recipe for disaster. Would have been wiser to offer him a deal that would keep him on track, at the club, with a bonus clause for wining either one or both of the top competitions. Then once or if proven, tie him down. If things go pear shaped this season, and the powers that be decide to go for a change, it's going to be an expensive process trying to get that done. Problem is you never know what to expect in this game. Things could look rosy one week and everything can fall apart the next. I would say this though, this is not on Arteta, anybody offered this would be over the moon. This falls solely on the clubs shoulders.
