Good: US speed limit icon. Bad: Model Y image. Actually kinda disappointed by the Model Y graphics after waiting for a long time. The image lacks a lot of details compared to the Model 3 graphics, like the shadows and light reflections, and positioning of the center brake light bar. It simply looks much cheaper. They should have been able to do a much better job, considering the great Model 3 graphics, as well as both the greatly detailed Model 3 and Model Y graphics on that round old-school but more expensive one. Not sure whether they will make another graphic upgrade, but I'm just sticking with Model 3 graphics. Also there are many details that can be improved, such as animations for clearance/position lights at night, turning lights icon and turning lights animations, blue lines of lane when AP is activated, etc. With that said, I'm still overall satisfied with the product, especially compared to the F9 I had for a week. It's just a shame that they didn't make it better when they simply could.

This product works by connecting to the original car plug, rather than modifying it by destroying the original car wiring. You can return to the original state at any time, so the warranty will not be lost.

Why would you come to this video to see a demo of Apple Car Play when he prefaces the video by stating he's going to be sharing recent software updates specific to this particular device. Go find the original video if you want to see what Apple Car Play looks like on the display (it looks the same as any other vehicle that allows Apple Car Play).
I also have this display and I have recommended it to someone else. The seller is very responsive and the unit works like a charm . Thanks for your installation video it convinced me this would be an easy install
Great video! It would be amazing if the display could show what the camera sees when you use the turn signals, allowing you to keep your eyes on the road. The hardware is already there; just mimic what Tesla does. By the way, I’m going to throw away my current display from Hansshow and switch to this one-it’s a no-brainer.
@@triplea7668 That’s the MCU for your car options not the display. Please check on your main display what your car MCU is then select the right one for your car. The cluster had an update two days ago. After that, the cluster is not reading the battery percentage correctly, the cluster is showing 13% battery life, and my tesla infotainment is showing 75% battery life. Also the US speed limit sign is way too small. Need glasses to read the number. They have plenty of room in the cluster to make the speed limit bigger with a bigger number, I have a 2024 Tesla Model Y Long Range with an AMD processor. I Like the cluster, they just need to correct these issues. FYI they correct the problem , they have great customer service. The Cluster is working perfect now.

The new OTA update they just sent today fixes these issues. I after updating I just had to hold the right scroll wheel 7-10seconds and the issues incl batt percentage are now accurate :)
I have the display F68 and am very happy. But since the update to 2024.20.1 it show battery level 100% (always) and I can finally make over 5000km with one charge 😂😂. I hope Hansshow will being soon an update.
Great upgrade, I installed it 2 monrhs ago in my model Y. I actually emailed them to consider adding model Y as an option and they added that option a few weeks later. I felt like they did it specifically for me 😅😅. Also, they fixed that 100% battery charge problem. Great support.

Mostly electric cars are back wheel drive (we are going back to 70's) hahahaha But with twin motors in electric are AWD (All Wheel Drive) though but then those versions one need to open wallet ...... Next year Volvo will come up with EX60 electric so im gonna buy but for now i got as i mentioned earlier XC60 Hybrid AWD and satisfy so far and can drive smaller drive on electric and longer rout on petrol works great with lots of functions so one has to be alert just in case hahahaha Thanks for sharing your info about Tesla but you change from model 3 to model Y then whats coming next :)
How are we going backwards with RWD cars. There have always been cars available in RWD, FWD and AWD and it all comes down to preference. Manufacturers aren't working towards making all cars AWD, that was never a thing. Not everyone needs it. RWD cars drive just fine if you live in the right environment for i, which many people do.
Are the steering wheel scroll wheels disconnected from the Tesla main screen? Your video shows different functions than what Tesla offered. Can I use the scroll wheels as Tesla intended or do I lose the original controls by installing this unit? Can you ask the company to remove the front and rear license plates from their vehicle icons? It would be nice to have the following Tesla vehicle icon options: Former Model 3, New Model 3 (which they already have), Current Model Y and new Model Y after it’s released. Do both models (Pro & non-pro) come with the front camera?

Hopefully Teslasy improves the rendering of the Model Y icon/image on a future OTA update. In the meantime, i'm sticking to the Model 3 UI since it looks much nicer

Just installed mine and did the update. I cant find the setting to change it to miles per hour. It came as Kilometers KH/h. How do you change it to MPH?

Just wanted to update you! I got the display and installed it yesterday. Took 90 minutes including the uninstalling of the smaller Hansshow device. I love this new one! Drove to and from LA yesterday and it was very nice having Waze on right in front of my eyes. (BTW, I didn’t get the camera. Never really used it with the previous display.) I highly recommend this product to your viewers and subscribers. Great addition to my 2023 MY.

@@EkapolTharasiriroj Have you tried holding the right scroll wheel button down for 7-10 seconds? See if the battery percentage changes then when it does, let go of the button. That worked for me.

Thanks! Did you ask them about constant blind spot monitoring? Also, you may know this, you can stop the nag by scrolling right scroll on wheel up or down 1MPH, rather then grabbing the wheel.

If it won't work without a phone, then it's garbage!!! I do want one, but will NEVER do Apple. I don't want to be forced into a phone needed to drive my car. I want my current map displayed along with BLIS. Shouldn't need a phone for that.
Can’t make everyone happy it seems. Im just grateful we have a 3rd party company that listens to user feedback and executes timely improvements via OTA updates.
I would like to see full screen CarPlay (eg Waze / mapping) and automatic daylight savings time adjustment if it doesn’t have those already.

Any model Y built after feb or april 2022 comes with the latest AMD chipset.
Your car has AMD processor as all the car 2022 and newer will come with AMD processor.

My friend got tesla screen for his old skool lexus GX . 1k$$$
This display shows a battery level at 13-14% all the time on my new Model 3 Performance with 2024.14.100.1. May need update.
I reached out to Teslasy regarding these issues and they said they’re currently working on fixing those issue and will release the update soon.

The new OTA update fixes this issue. I’m also on the same firmware.
@@caj3 Just try OTA update 2hrs ago. I got small update that take less than 1min to update but the problem remains.
@@EkapolTharasiriroj Have you tried holding the right scroll wheel button down for 7-10 seconds? See if the battery percentage changes then when it does, let go of the button. That worked for me.

Yes, you can use right scroll wheel to scroll up or down to manually activate the camera.

Hello, I just received mine and hoping to start installing it tomorrow. I do have A question. Have you had any issues with the power supply not giving enough power to the screen after the new update?
The screen requires such a small amount of power, and the update doesn't change this.

Do you think they will ever make one with the blind spot camera ?
That would be something different because I don’t think Tesla allows third party devices access the camera feeds from the car.

Thanks! Did you ask them about constant blind spot monitoring? Also, you may know this, you can stop the nag by scrolling right scroll on wheel up or down 1MPH, rather then grabbing the wheel.
I did ask about the blind spot with turn signal. They won’t be able to add the function with software update.

If it won't work without a phone, then it's garbage!!! I do want one, but will NEVER do Apple. I don't want to be forced into a phone needed to drive my car. I want my current map displayed along with BLIS. Shouldn't need a phone for that.
You don’t need any phone to use this, you only need it for android auto or car play. Hope this helps.
