A very interesting tour of Icy Point and Hoonah. It's often more relaxing to do a self-guided tour at your own pace rather than join a huge crowd of tourists. Loved seeing the totem poles - awesome!

Yes, sometimes the tour buses can be fun, but it was fun to explore on my own.

The starfish are cool! I always thought about them being in tropical places!

It wasn't that bad, not hot, in the 60s the whole time we were there.

Nice video of your cruise ship travels and traveling is wonderful education and this place looks like fishing village 😊

It was a major salmon Cannery, but now it is more a Norwegian adventure port. I didn't showcase it because I am a fan of history but Norwegian has set up a lot of adventure activities at this port like zip lines, atvs, and kayaking.

So cool seeing this. I was part of the crew that build those cruise ship docks. I was there when they were building the gondola lifts.

Wow, that must have been really interesting and a lot of work! How long was the project?

It took about a year to build and I got to go up there for a few weeks to help install. Best sunset I've ever seen was on that dock.

@@lucasvanpelt222 I can only imagine. I bet you saw some amazing wildlife while you were there. When we were there two trails were blocked off because of bears.

There was a lot of construction going on so I didn't see any bears or deer. Saw a lot of jelly fish fighting things and there was a very funny raven at the cannery where they make burgers

If you are only going to have money coming in from one source, makes sense the need for people to buy stuff would necessitate places to do som

I hate to be negative but your video is very erratic and some facts incorrect. It might be enjoyable to watch your new improved videos. ISP deserves it, it’s a beautiful and unique place.
