I don’t understand moto. They’re known mostly for their G series,but seem to put all their effort into random phones nobody can remember and treat the G series like an afterthought.
Which budget phone would u recommend as I don't want to spend that much on a new phone. I want upgrade my iphone se 2020

The Moto G Power 2020 is the Bomb! Just got me one in April this year and also got my last security patch update in April as well. Bummer Motorola doesn't support their phones for very long as it seems they are in the game to just sell phones for the money?
Yep. Got my 2020 g stylus for 189 bucks. I get a lot more features out of it compared to these new 2022 5g models.

I have a Moto G fast for almost two years with no screen protector and i dropped it a few times a day and the screen cracked like a month ago... I love Motorola I'm think of getting the 5g stylus today

@@preston8872 I would suggest anything Motorola that you can afford here in California the 5g stylus 2022 is only 70$ when you switch to Metro Tmobile
@@Miley_00 I agree. I like my Motorola phones. They're not too expensive and they work much better than similarly priced Samsung phones. To get the same performance level on a Samsung you really need to upgrade to a much more expensive version of Samsung.
The Stylus version of this phone has become my favorite phone. I love the stylus.

Got this as an upgrade from Boost mobile for no lie 10 bucks, it rocks and I rooted it
I've been a faithful moto owner not disappointed there phones have always been good. The only thing I've ever had trouble with was sound on my former one but it was exposed to a lot of dust at one time. The battery and sound and camera the things I like to be good are I've owned Samsung before and would never go back.

I had ATT for almost a year had the Note 20 Plus payed off. AT&T are High bill gets higher each month I was paying 110.00 a month for unlimited everything with them. I shopped around and looked at this Phone and bought with Metro PCS cost me 107.61 total and 60.00 for unlimited everything saving me money. It's different coming from a high end phone but this Motorola G 5G is straight. Battery 🔋 last me 2 Days Straight 💯.
Its a really good phone I've had mine for months & I use it literally allllll the time. No problems with anything so far.
tmobile has a deal right now where you can trade any junk phone even broken for the moto g 5g or the nord n200 5g

I switched to this phone from the 2020 moto g power and I have to say while it had more storage it was actually slower with loading internet and did not seem to be much better than a 2 year old phone. I ended up returning it and sticking with my moto g power

Yeah but it's a 1600x720 269ppi so that with ninety refresh rate and such a small screen that's not really all that bad though. And I got mine from hsn and it's only sixty four gb memory but everything else is pretty much the same and for only a hundred nine dollars it's actually a really nice phone I think

My 2020 stylus stopped being supported. Should I go ahead and buy the new 5g stylus? Or should I hold off and see what moto does in 2023. Because I'm not sure if this is the right buy

If you care about the dual speaker experience on your 2020 Stylus, I wouldn't. The 5G Stylus isn't very improved on what you have now, sadly. Moto doesn't seem to really want to improve specs. If you do want the stylus experience, though, it's just about the best option right now besides jumping up to the S22 Ultra for a lot more money.
@@preston8872 the Galaxy A73 is a very good phone for what you want. There may be a Moto phone that fits your needs, but if you're in the US, about the best they've got right now is the Moto Edge, and the Stylus 5G.
@@hahajoe82 the thing with my 2020 is that. When it went to android 11. The battery drains faster. I don't want the same thing happening again with another moto. Also would I be safe to use it till 2023?
@@flint9889 honestly I'm not sure. I believe that Motorola has stopped security updates on the G Stylus 2020, but I could be wrong. If they have, it'll open your phone to vulnerabilities, but generally if you download from the play store you're usually ok. I would ask Motorola how long security updates for the phone are though.

How to make contact less payments if there is no NFC.
I am considering buying the Motorola Edge 5G 2022. It seems amazing, but Kevin Breeze has said MediaTek processors are not great. There is no review of this phone from Kevin?
They could have and should have made the screen 1080p to be more competitive with other similar phones.

@@preston8872 I just got the new Galaxy A53 5G--great camera, 120HZ Amoled screen, lots of ram. It's a good deal. The MSRP is $449, but you can get it for cheaper. Kevin Breeze did a video on it here.

Is there a gcam apk for this phone? I got this phone just today. The screen is not too bad. It could be better for the price. It seems to lack on scrolling. And this is supposed to be a 90hz refresh. I could almost sacrifice the refresh rate for a cheaper price or a better display. The camera is really bad. That is why I am looking for gcam.
Kevin can you get the new Moto G Stylus 5G 2022?
At this point don't see this as a worthy enough upgrade to my 2020 Moto G Power since the only thing here of any real significance is the faster chipset... Already own a phone w/120Hz display/5G, that are not enabled, because just haven't found them to be gamechanger's during my daily use. On the other hand our G Power's 1080p display, stereo speakers, 4K video recording DO make their presence known in daily use. Besides, in my region we're being offered the Moto G 5G (2022) 64/4 for a "measly" $400 which is $150 more than I paid for Power so yeah nothing to really see here imo.

@@partycrashers22 Now that the Canadian price for Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) has been revealed, $500 for 128/4 variant, I'm most certainly keeping mine too.
The moto g 5G in my region is only $150, which is prob $400 (according to your prices) less than the moto g power (2020)'s original price.
@@StripesTheEmoji404 I paid $250 CAD for my 2020 Moto G Power (64/4) & $300 CAD for 2020 Moto G Stylus (128/4). Moto G 5G 64/4 here is $400 CAD while Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) 128/4 is $500 CAD... If latter were the 256/8 variant it'd easily be in the $650ish CAD range w/o a doubt.
I actually just made the same comment I went and bought this phone and it was considerably slower than the moto g power 2020 I have. I ended up returning it and sticking with my moto g power

What I love about this phone it’s tough no screen protector needed as I’ve dropped Moto 5 g plenty of times no crack or anything

I am trying to find out about the user interface on Motorola phones. I have a Moto G Power (2021) and the screen does not have the square, circle and arrow like this phone in the video. It has a line near the bottom of the screen instead and everything is gestures and swipes. I would prefer the on screen buttons, square, circle and arrow. Is it possible to change thios on a phone?
Settings / System / Gestures / System navigation / 3-button navigation...Or, in the Settings search bar type "navigation" then click on "System navigation".

I was also disaopointed in the no NFC but i have a fitbit versa 2 and that has NFC so really i dont need the phone to have it but it would be nice. luckily my fitbit versa 2 has a week battery life.
Deciding on a new phone is so hard for me. My Moto G Power 2020 is on its last leg and I have watched tons of videos and read articles to try to make a decision with no luck. Before my current phone I had a Moto G5 Plus. I think I have narrowed my phone options down to 3 phones: Google Pixel 6a, Moto G Power 2022, or the Moto G 5G. I am pretty simple in that I don't game or spend a lot of time on my phone, but when I do I use it for things such as: Shopify POS at vending events, Instagram, capturing customers pictures, selfies, and videos at events. Based on the information I listed which phone would you pick: Google Pixel 6a, Moto G Power 2022, or the Moto G 5G?
I have Moto G Power 2020.. Moto Progression is horrible! Next generation phones in the G series go up and down. ... I could get Moto G5G and lose my Stereo speakers and 1080 display .. Very confusing! Shame on Moto!!

Spec for spec, this is pretty much the Motorola Moto G Power (2022) with Android 12 vice 11.
I have that cricket version with 64 gb and I love it it's just like my 2022 moto g power
My Moto G Stylus 2022 is not 6.5" it's 6.8"!

This is a great phone.
I just ordered 1 from boost for $10 but at this point I just want a good phone and I'm hoping this is going to do it for me, but I'm not 100% sure I will want to keep it or switch back to my current device, but we will see😅

This phone looks like a big whiff. It has some promise with the processor, ram, and storage. However, the screen resolution, no nfc, and no ultra wide camera holds this phone back from being a great option, especially with the msrp they put on this phone.

Watching videos on this phone is trash I tried playing with display settings but still horrible my other cheaper phones have better quality

This phone is a brick. Literally. I've had more issues in this phone in nine months than I had in NINE YEARS with my Blackberry Curve. Need to restart it constantly even for simple stuff like calling and texting. And mobile data? Forget it. Like I said, my Blackberry Curve that I had from 2006 until 2015 was more functional. I've had phones from Samsung of all companies that outperform this. Same with LG. And both of those are gawd awful in their own right.
Let that sink in. This will be the LAST phone from Motorola that I will get. Ever.
If you want a smartphone that operates about as well as the first ever iPhone (and I find it pretty funny that iPhones are still just as bad now as they were 15 years ago lol), go right ahead. Ain't my money you're spending.
