excellent tutorial mate! Thank you! I assume the firmware upgrade process is precisely how you demonstrated for the MK4? ... via sparrow with those 3 files from the coinkite website?
I want to be super diligent, so I intend to do the firmware upgrade as a first step, then generate the seed phrase, next delete and re-import the seed phrase to make sure that works. Then connect to sparrow as you show in this video. makes sense? (I just got my CCQ today :) So all is still new to me.
@geedee3817 Yes, it’s always a good practice to delete and restore your seed before sending in large amounts of BTC. Make sure your seed is correctly written down, in numerical order & spelt correctly & stored safely 🔒 Verifying the latest firmware updates is key💯 www.coldcard.com/docs/upgrade/
Maybe don't buy it in the first place. The company is not ethical. They lie about what they have in stock and actual shipping times. Bitcoiners should reject these practices as most of us have adopted BTC for ethical reasons
On ya mate 👍
Thx Bruadha 🤙

Yes same practice as with the Mk4. Always good to verify the updates & Sparrow has a great tool for that🔥

What company are you talking about? I’ve used Coinkite for years & never had an issue…
