    excellent job on the video. One video suggestion if you feel like making it is how do restaurants make their chicken balls. I've always assumed double frying but it would be great to see a second opinion. Your video where you made Beijing Beef was very popular for me around New Years my friends and family loved it.

      Glad you guys like the Beijing beef! Thanks for the recommendation! By chicken balls, do you mean fried chicken that look like balls in Orange chicken or other fried chicken dishes? For reference, here’s the orange chicken video:

    In Canadian Chinese restaurants, the vegetables are omitted. I've been cooking Chinese foods for about 9 years and most use this process but at times, I try the American version. In the end, the taste is delicious.

    Hi
    How do you dispose your used oil?

    • @eliasfamilykitchen4588
      @eliasfamilykitchen4588  15 дней назад

      In a zip lock bag in the trash. Never dispose frying oil in the sink. It would clog up your pipes.

    Hi, Do you really need that much oil? because now you have to strain it and use it again ?? No way , used oil is smelly , unless youre going to use it again that very day.OK, so... youre using new oil for the veg?? AHHHH!!! too much oil!!

    • @maxineb9598
      @maxineb9598 21 день назад +1

      Oh, no. Too much oil. For you maybe.

    • @melissahamm8122
      @melissahamm8122 20 дней назад +1

      Okay maybe not too much oil just the wrong kind of oil vegetable oil and seed oils are poison. Maybe avocado oil instead

      If you use less oil, it would be hard to maintain the temperature. And it would take longer to fry. When the oil temperature is below 350, it would make the food more greasy and less crispy. You can use less oil but please keep in mind that the results may not be as good. I do strain and reuse frying oil if they are lightly used.
      I don’t fry a lot. When I do, in order to not waste the frying oil, I would plan to make several dishes that require frying in the same meal or prep ahead for later. For example, make egg rolls or fried wontons, fried tofu, or fry an extra batch of this pork and freeze it for another time.
      For stir fries, fresh oil is used. Long answer. Hope it helps! 😊
