A few years after House ended, Robert Sean Leonard would go on to play a villain's role in the Blacklist, a crime drama procedural series on NBC. In a seemingly obvious nod to his role in House, he played a doctor. Frederick Barnes, as played by Robert, was an anti-villain who was experimenting on unwilling test subjects as a means of curing his son of a rare and inordinately fatal illness.
