What I find so amazing is that you can go all over the world and if it was a British settlement, it all looks similar! I am in Upstate NY and our "Colonial " era homes look like Elizabeth Farm. You would find the same firnishings in NYCity Williamsburg, Boston and Canada. What did they do at Elizabeth Farm to keep snakes, bugs and all the horrible things out of the house. It is all very open.
