Man this guy makes me smile everytime I watch him! Like the first time he starts noodling with the bridge humbucker he's just off in his own world. Such a pleasure to watch/listen to.

i play a nice, beautiful sounding gibson les paul, but the best feeling guitar i have ever played was a suhr stratocaster. absolutely brilliant guitars!
I did get one of them in Guthrie's fave colour too.
This would be the Guthrie model to get in my opinion. You get solid mahogany, set neck, and all the goodies of the other guitars plus a satin finish. This to me is probably the nicer point, the satin finish will allow the wood to breath allowing it to be considerably more toneful than a thick poly or even nitro coating, also it will not show dings as bad as the others, Nitro is really easy to scratch and show dings.

@g3legacy You are not fair enough with GG! If "as you say" is easy to copy, please: show us! It isn`t, men! Its hard as hell, but for shure this guy never ends his licks book. Its amazing and i as him (and you) listen to all those influences. It sound preety "original to me"...

Greetings youtubers. I am ordering a Suhr Pro Series S4. It seems to have a floating trem. what problems will i have if i tune to drop D for example.. i am new to these tremolo thingys.. never had a tremolo guitar. Please help! :)
Defs one of the best. But Mike Casswell....his whammy use, I believe is the best. Yes jeff beck influenced but he is a unique player.

Yes, i have a compaint for John Suhr, I tried this model and i sounded nothing like this. Are Guthries fingers for sale or maybe I could just pay him to walk around and say he's me.

Tune to drop D will make all other strings go out of tune.. you can get a Tremolno to avoid this or block your trem in "dive only mode" with a chunk of wood for exemple

@stratthead Oh dear, confusing influence and inspiration with innovation is a shame. You're seriously telling me GG does nothing original....? From the musicians you names, he sounds nothing like Joe Pass, or Malmsteen. Van Halen, not really...in fact, if you listen to some of GG's album, I hear more Vai in his playing that anything else. It's a pointless debate anyway, it's opinion. I choose Paul Gilbert and Joe Bonamassa over all these guys you listed personally, for my own reasons. Dan

it's in your hands, not that much on the guitar, it looks and sounds like so many cheap guitars. reminded me some 80's yamaha models. Make yourself a favor, dont buy this..its like paying 3000 us dollars for a 2015 gibson. ..shite.
