@@mattseymour8637 Start off with some welsh steam coal that the club acquired and then onto a mix of anthracite and steam coal whilst it gets really going. Running I use anthracite..

Mainly anthracite - usually start up with wood soaked in paraffin, then some ordinary coal, as anthracite takes a little longer to get going, but when it does it's good.
Wheeee! Speed limit? What's that? Is that when a junkie can't afford his next hit? ;) I hope this wasn't sped up on playback? It was a fun video anyway.
chaka pitchou Cost always depends on the quality of the build, these locomotives are handbuilt from castings and solid materials. An engine to this standard would be in the region of £7000+
Great ride... I think its the fastest I've seen ! Applause from Detroit
Thats a mint B1 model, i always think they look great in apple green but i know not their original colour
Brilliant, trying to save for a little locomotive my self but something like that is too hard
Superb !!
Good video. It certainly steams freely with the minimal amount of coal and water. (Or is that just good editing? ;-)
No, that's not good editing - only requires a couple or three shovels of coal per 2 laps of the track. It is very free steaming.
@@GBRailways that's good stuff! What coal do you use?

@@mattseymour8637 Just ordinary household coal from coal merchants.

Hi Jason. Nope - this was as filmed - speed equivalent of around 75-80 mph in full size real life!
How much would cost this loco ?
