Thank you so much! This was really helpful to me yesterday. Also going to add, in case anyone is slow like I am, you need to remove the 7mm bolts on the bottom that attach the diffuser to car as well. There are some on each side by the wheel wells and also 2 in the middle of the bumper at the back connecting the diffuser to two sort of pillars that come down from the actual metal bumper behind the bumper cover. Also, I was able to pull the bumper off without removing the taillight covers.
When taking the bumper off, you also had to take all the diffuser screws out? Or just the two on the bottom posts. I only need to remove my bumper and not separate the diffuser. Thanks! Informative video!
Johnathan Davis It’s safer and easier to remove the bumper to take off the diffuser. It can be done without removing bumper but very risky bc of breaking clips
Two wheel breeze!! I have a 2019 camaro ss 1LE and want to put a tow hook on it but can’t figure out how to take off the tow hook covers, you seem like a brighter man than I am, if you figure it out do you mind posting a short video on it ?
What's up man, I have a 2020 SS 1LE and I will be purchasing several different items for the rear bumper and have decided that removing it will be quicker than trying to reach my hands up and in the different locations for the various things I will be doing. Now to my question? You mentioned the steel clips were easier to get off due to you not having the stock exhaust, do you have to press from behind the bumper to get them out? Seeing as how i have the stock exhaust that will make it impossible, would I be able to simply pull outward and they'll pop out?
Congrats on the purchase. I think you should still be able to get to everything but the suitcase/stock muffler just makes it a tighter space. Hope the vid helped and good luck
This is a great video, straight to the point, useful information. Helped me out
That’s what I like to hear. Thanks 🤜🤛
this video is great, will definitely be using this guide when it come time to replace my diffuser with an aftermarket one!
Hope it helps👍🏻

if leaving diffuser in then only take the ones connecting to the car instead of the bumper
Do you have to take the bumper off to get the diffuser off? I dont have a muffler
