  • Here is the elusive 2497! You wanna hear something funny? This driver and the former driver of 2494, Francisco are brothers! And they both drive rapid rails. I think there's actually another set of sibling drivers but they're front loader drivers. Or one of them is a side loader driver and one of them is a front loader or something like that. I could be wrong about there even being another set of siblings but I'm pretty sure there is another set.
I don't know what was going on with this truck when I found it. You can see throughout the video that there's some what looks like hydraulic fluid leaking onto the gripper gears which can't be too good. I'm sure it's fine, though. I was lucky to find this truck, too because the driver was just about to finish his route. I'm glad to have recorded it because for some reason, this truck has been particularly hard to locate haha! Anyway, thank you for watching the video and thanks to the driver for letting me record, enjoy!

I don't think it was a hydro leak. Looks more like alot of built up water or "trash juice" that forced its way through the little gaps in the sheet metal on the hopper floor. Most likely in the far right side of the cleanout pit behind the blade. That would absolutely SUCK to try to get that cleaned up. If it were a hydro Leak, by then that arm would have ceased operation and he'd be done for the day.
As always man great film work!
I finally caught 2502 yesterday! Waking up at 7 am helped a bit..but he was a few hrs late so I was like dammit! I could have slept till 10 lol.

Ahh that makes more sense! You're right I remember when 2466 was leaking fluid it was decommissioned so yeah that makes sense.
Thank you! I think my videos from yesterday and today have even better film work because of how many courts there were. Of course that happened! But at least you were able to film it 😅
