  • How I decided to change my career path from Business to INTERIOR DESIGN
    Welcome to my channel: Elevated Living by Sarah Adnan! A move like this can be both intimidating and overwhelming, however, with the right support and attitude, I'm finding that the past few weeks, since making this decision, have been quite fun and exciting. Everyday is spent being surrounded by conversations and topics that I've always had passion for: Interior Design and I'm learning so many new skills that it motivates me to work even harder. I'd also been getting a lot of questions from my friends, some new, on how I got started and what online course I'm taking to equip myself with the relevant theoretical and technical skills required within this industry. So I thought it would be good to share my journey and experience thus fur and the kind of steps I'm taking as an aspiring Interior Designer to reach the final destination of opening up my own business.

    Very informative video, and motivational as well. You seem to have all the ingredients, to become a successful Interior Designer. A good interior designer has lots of curiosity, ability to critically analyze the tradition and the confidence to break it, the courage to experiment, the vision to see functionality in designs, and off course the ability to utilize natural light and space in the most optimum manner. It's even a noble work, as you are creating comfort living conditions for other people.

    Hi Sarah ! I recently decided to switch up my career from healthcare to Interior Design and am currently doing research on what it takes and the education path. I stumbled upon your channel and I love how informative your videos are. Currently watching your series on becoming an interior designer and would love more information on the education aspect of it. Is the online course really sufficient enough to land a role in the industry? Also love the area you live in ! I visit there quite often

    Just dropped from Yorkville university interior design undergraduate program (online) before completing the first week. Couldn't justify paying 70k just for the course(forget about books, stationary)
    After watching lots of videos and doing some in-depth research any field related to art and creativity you simply don't need a college degree. Any course which can teach you foundation works just fine. Is the course only 1000$ just as stated in the website?

    • @SarahAdnan
      @SarahAdnan  3 года назад

      everyone has their own journey and if urs it to take this online course then so be it. and yes, it is only that much. IDI also provides advanced modules then u can buy as add on if you want to specialize on something for example landscape design.
