This video truly cemented why I don’t read romance books 😂😂 I do love a romance subplot and the ocasional historical/classic romance, but I can't stand most contemporary romances. It was fun to watch tho!

Ok first of all, I literally love your videos. Secondly I highly recommend that you read love & other words, the deal, and from lukov with love. I feel like based on this video and past videos you would like them. But also I just really want to see your opinions on some of my favorite romance books 🤭
I love my Tessa Bailey books lol. The thing I feel people don’t mention when they recommend her books is they’re very hallmarky. Like you can never go in expecting a serious deep renowned romance. It’s very cliche, corny, and simple. They’re a great quick read to be entertained by.

I haven’t read one in Rome, but my understanding is that it is closed door and set in Rome, Kentucky, not Italy.
It happened one summer gave me the ick in the first couple chapters, that man was so horny in like chapter 2 already, I was like slow down sir 😂✋. I tried to read it because of Jack’s rec and I haven’t trusted his opinions about romance novels since (jack if you’re reading this I’m sorry, I still trust your opinion on other genres 😂)
