Hey boatguy, I have a 150 hp yamaha two stroke with 100 psi in all cyls. it is hard to get started but starts ok after it has run for a while. Any thoughts ?
I just got my hands on a Century 2100 Center Console. I am in the process of restoring it. It's not as good of shape as this one, but it's close. Your videos have really inspired me to completely make it over and restore it. Your channel is AWESOME! I'll never drop new boat money. Letting someone else pay the premium for the new boat experience and me getting it later and enjoying it at a fraction of the cost is my plan. I love to work on the boat. Again, thank you so much for putting out your videos.
@@chrisdembek I'm originally from Missouri, now in Florida. Friend in Mo. had family in Miami. Before he'd go visit them he'd go to all the pawn shops and buy their entire racks of leather jackets. Try to find 450-650 honda or yamaha , his family would sell at flea markets. He'd always pull a boat home and usually dbl his money just pulling it to Mo. Even today I can see they run 30-40% higher there than here in Florida. I live in the panhandle and you seldom see homes without some type of boat, apt complexes even have boat parking areas.

You guys are really lucky to have a boat launch that isn't crowded. Of all the videos I've watched, it looks like you almost always have the ramp to yourselves. I wish it was that way where I live. Keep the videos coming...always enjoy them!
idk shit about boats, but this makes me want to go get a junker and clean er up. I'm sure you make it look way easier than it probably is tho.lol. Awesome content. Keep it up.
To me, that one is a keeper. Hey, you can't spend all this time cleaning and fixing without actually keeping the best one to play with on the weekends. After all you don't spend the time mowing, even when you now have 4 riders....lol
Are any of your boats for sale? That Century looks like exactly what I’m looking for. I’m in NY, but a drive down to Florida and back is something I would do.
Most mowers are one wheel peel to avoid grass damage. Look for one with a locking differential. Lots out there, I have a husqvarna with lockers and it will pull.

But if your curious here ya go.......I make a little north of 80K/yr up here in the northeast. Just a blue collar yank playing in the woods and water. That's the 3rd best 2 stroke Yamaha put out IMHO. I think the v6 225 edges out the 200, but their all time greatest 2 stroke achievement has to be the 90. That's a fine boat. And that Yamahammer sounds great.
I have basically the same boat, mine is a Boston whaler conquest 210, cuddy cabin 21 foot, 225 Evinrude etec, 98 boat 2010 motor, it goes without being trimmed 42.7 mph
What up Eric!?!? Dats a nice/clean boat u just freshened up! Another great job! Hey sir, how much is gas in Florida right now??? Peace n blessings 2 u n ur crew!
First comment again twice in a row. Great video as always Eric keep it up mate lovin it and I have learned so much from your channel even though I’m only twelve. Thanks to u i now want to become an outboard mechanic and I just bought with my own money a clapped out Yamaha 15 2 stroke as a project I’m changing the rings and giving it an all round service and putting it on my dads rib so we can go fishing. Come to Australia please, Thanks mate keep the videos coming

Love the videos. I am actually looking to purchase a boat like this for me and my family. And yes, sea grapes are edible. We eat them here in the Bahamas all the time when they're in season. That one you tasted was green though. They're ripe and sweet once they turn dark purple in color, for the most part.
Hey @ThatBoatGuy, so I watched a lot of your videos and I’ve thought about getting an old boat to fix up myself. I’m pretty mechanically inclined I’ve just never owned a boat. I know they’re a lot different than a traditional motor but I was wondering what you look for when buying a boat to restore
Can you add some details like what you put into the boats, and if you sell them what sort of profit/loss you incur? I know you do it because you love it, but some of us may be interested in learning from you to turn this into a personal business too. ?? great work, thanks!

I have a 1997 force 75hp, 2 stroke that on the water muffs it runs fine, but once in the water the motor stalls and it's difficult to keep it running. Any idea what my problem might be? I've replaced plugs, fuel filter, impeller, thermostat.

zero turn mowers have one inherent flaw, on flat ground or going straight up or down gradients they're great but they don't travel across a slope or gradient very well or if steep enough at all, but as tow vehicle on flat ground should be OK if you put some counter balance up front
That depends on the mower, the "new" Kubota is probably hydraulic drive meaning it doesn't have a clutch and the 2 gasser's use a slipper belt style of clutch. So basically it's not a clutch you burn up but a cheap ($20 or so) belt that isn't very hard to replace
I've got a kubota b7500 and I'm scared to hook anything slightly heavy to it. You guys are using lawnmowers??? I could probably organize my trailer hoard better with the tractor.
If you lower the tow ball and move it closer to the rear axle and accelerate a bit slower, your Honda mower will be less likely to flip. If you add some front weight that would help too. Cheers.
Good video and yes you can eat sea grape wait until they are dark red , they are really good to eat the best wine you can drink, they are good after September, october.

The hitch on the front of the mower makes life much easier for moving trailers and boats around!

Works great for a truck, however.
