What do you mean didn't come through? If your product was missing something, calling K&N Direct may be faster since they should be able to quickly send out component parts. If that doesn't get what you need, please call us and we can get you taken care of, we just don't have component parts on hand so it will take us a little longer.
I am in my mid 70s and though I have ridden Harley's since the first 57 Sportster, and later became a dealer during the 70's thru 90's, I freely admit I know nothing about the XG750 I just bought. It has always been my habit to add K&N air filters for the best of performance and longevity. However, when I added the K&N internal filter to the XG my mileage went from the mid to high 40's down to the mid to low 30's even though I am a conservative rider (speed limits), but lots of Colorado altitude. Had to switch back to get more per tank. I am clueless.....can anyone offer any thoughts on this?
Hey can you guys answer my question? If I put a kn filter on my street rod do I have to put a power commander on there also?? P.s. I have a slip on exhaust on there already
My factory gasket didn't come through can I buy anywhere online or is that okay to put through without gasket looking forward to it cheers!!

Bill, have you replaced the exhaust as well or just the intake filter?
Just the air filter so far. Exhaust will be ASAP.
Dumb question (probably >.
I would contact the manufacturer on that one to be safe
hello do you need an fp3 if you use this filter?
is it compulsory to tune my bike after changing the air intake and adding a slip on ? like is it a must do ? pls help !
It is a really good idea. Some get away with it on just slip-ons but once you change the intake, you can cause issues.
Is there any need to remap the ECU after installing K&N Air filter?
Always a good idea if changing exhaust or intake.

David Acevedo, you should definitely tune the bike using a Power Vision or any other proper tuner if you choose to open up the intake.
