Looks good and sounds great. I think you definitely need to do dyno tune since the bike got high flow intake. You will damage the engine if the bike runs lean
d mcki thanks for the advise. I will do dyno later since my wife doesnt ride that much. The bike only done less than 500kms since i installed the air intake

Thank you for this video! I just installed the tab slip on exhaust on my street 500 and next is going to be a performance air filter. Did you notice a difference from the screamin eagle air filter compared to the intake you installed on this video?
Frankies World no worries mate. In term of sound, yes you can tell the different. But when it comes to performance, definitely you need a tune. I could feel the bike lost power in the high RPM before tuned. After a dyno tuned, the bike got more power and more torque all the way to red line 😊 so far my wife is so happy with the K&N filter with the look of it, the sound and the extra power 😊

Well the street rod is a different throttle body setup but I think they make one for it.the street rod has dual throttle bodies as the regular street 500/750 have a single

Wil Cervantes - It actually looked like a stock xg500 air filter with only a Screaming Eagle cover. Can’t be sure of course. But yes you would definitely tune it if that’s the case. The V&H FP3 preloaded maps will nominate a exhaust, but as far as the air filter goes it only will be nominated as ‘High Flow’ so it doesn’t matter which high flow filter you have installed. You can download the FP3 app and it has a ‘demo mode’ you can check out.
