Listening to Ocean Robbins is like going to church, any church, temple, mosque, etc. Chef AJ, I agree with you, Ocean is wise beyond his years. Hearing him recall his grandfather's dark side was actually creepy yet in typical Ocean fashion, he turned it into a positive. What I take away from Ocean is we really are responsible for how we view life...basically it's the same idea as your's, Chef AJ, if life hands you lemons, you make lemonade. Thank you for the GREAT convo, Chef AJ and Ocean Robbins! Namaste.🙏👏🙌🤜🤛👍💟💪

I think he's right on about how you turn a bad thing that happens to you around and bring good to grow out of it.
    However, there's one "But".
"But" one can do that if the first tragedy happens when they're young, and one can do that if the second tragedy happens when their middle-aged, but.... There comes a time that you don't have time to rebound anymore, and that happens when you're old and a third tragedy happens. One can only go through so many tragedies throughout a lifetime, before they're too old and too well spent to rebound. There's a lot of people in that situation today. Let's remember them and keep them in our prayers.
And if we can do anything to help them, we ought to. Merry Christmas everyone.
Love you Chef AJ. It's always great to see you are posting and so active on your channel! You are looking great! Keep warm! Thanks for all you do to help people!

Over the years I've enjoyed learning from the Robbins' through their email news. Lately, however, I no longer access much of the information because there are usually various links to jump through to actually get to the material. Age and a brain injury have dulled my computer skills. It seems I'm less willing to learn computer tasks now. I so enjoyed this interview with Ocean! Thank you Chef AJ!

That story that Ocean told about his dad making him eat a steak,, really taught a great lesson. Thank you Ocean for telling that story. I am a vegan who does not judge other people's choice of what they eat. I think it was because of the way I was raised. There are many vegans who are very judgmental and it gives all vegans a bad wrap. You can not reach people if they feel like you are judging them. Love and acceptance and being a shining example is the best way to make a difference in the world. Thank you Chef A.J. and Ocean for the interview. (BTW, John Robbins book, Diet for New America, was one of the books that got me into being a vegan over 25 years ago.)

Chef AJ… this is one of the BEST episodes I ever listened to!!!
I love his story making eye contact with son while chewing on Barbie doll legs!
Having worked with many fantastic students with Autism, I cried and got chills when I heard his story.
Ocean is an amazing person and terrific storyteller! 💜💫🙏

Ocean is such a good soul. I appreciate the story he told about eating steak and what his father said about compassion for others, that’s a great message. He has a calming presence and yet is so passionate about his lifestyle and getting the message to the masses. I could listen to him often. Thanks Chef AJ and Ocean!

This dude’s a gangster. I love love LOVE that he makes the distinction between bullshit cronyism and true capitalism. I hate that capitalism has such an awful reputation and to be frank, I don’t have the FREAKING TIME to explain it to normies anymore. Shoutout to all my AnCaps 👊🏼 Stay in the fight 🪓

Chef Aj, I'm coming from carnivore and I'm trying to do the starch solution. Everything gives me gas. I take probiotics and digestive enzymes. I don't know what to do . I'm a massage therapist and it makes work hard .

My advice is to change the way you eat very slowly. I believe in this way you will not have gases.
