It’s crazy that your due dates are so close! Could you image if you had your babies on the same day?! I had that happen with my friend actually. We were in the same hospital giving birth at the same time! I remember texting her saying “Girl… was that you yelling down the hallway?” Turned out it was. Now we have sons a few hours apart. 🥰💙💙💙 They will both be 5 in August. Early squad … where you at?
My childhood best friend and I had her babies 17 days apart it was a special experiencing pregnancy with her but also giving each other advice and having someone go through the same journey of raising kids with you while they go through the same stages is priceless you are very lucky
I can already tell this video will be bitter sweet for me! like you my childhood friend and I fell pregnant at the same time our babies born a few weeks apart we had done everything together puberty together, adulthood and finally parenting , suddenly she passed in jan 2020. Our babies were 10yrs old I was devastated now our babies are 13yrs there so many things I wish I could just call and talk to her about. I've healed alot and it's so beautiful to see the relationship you have with your friend and if I could give some words of advice it's keep your friend close because having someone your comfortable with who is experiencing the wild adventure of parenting at the same timeis the best tool I had as a mother try and remember that all kids required personalized parenting and what works for you might not work for her and this is OK don't let parenting differences get in your way

I’m going to disagree on babies cry just to cry, maybe during toddler stage but infants typically have an issue if they cry, could be gas or colic or acid reflux if the normal diaper/food/hot/cold is not the answer… sometimes it’s needing comfort from Mama, which doesn’t seem critical to us but to baby it means the world 🥰
So fun that you guys get to do this journey together! I was worried about knowing what my son would need as a newborn too but they really have different cries for different things. We also started teaching him sign language around 6 months old and it's been so helpful! He's almost 2 now and knows so many signs. It really helps when he is feeling overwhelmed and can't put it into words. Just a side note someone pointed out to me that it is a good idea to not have your car seat in your car before baby in case you get in an accident because you'll have to get a whole new seat.

My junior high best friend and I have been friends now for 44 years. We were also pregnant at the same time and delivered 10 hours apart, same doctor, same delivery room! Those babies are turning 27 this week so I k ow how special it will be for you and Angela!!
I’ve worked on L&D and honestly enjoy those mints. When they say don’t eat anything they are tending more towards actual food. If you are worried have gum, but mints are perfectly fine, suckers are fine, hard candy is fine.
My best friend and I had our daughters one day apart! We live so far away and still haven’t seen each-other in forever but it was so nice to have her through that experience!
You both are just absolutely glowing ! I remember being pregnant it was such an experience, prayers for both and family! Im so excited to see you two as moms I know your gonna both be amazing at it ! Sending love and hugs ❤️
My sister and cousin were due 2 days apart and ended up having the babies the same exact day in rooms directly beside each other! So we didn’t have a very far commute to visit the new additions to our family 😂 it would be so funny if you guys ended up having the same delivery days! But if not I am wishing both of you safe and healthy delivery’s! I know how long you have wanted this, I just can’t say how happy I am for you and Larry ☺️😍

It’s best to leave the car seat out of the car until you head to the hospital to have baby! If you were to get into an accident it would have to be replaced. ❤️

Good morning! Hope all is well :) I just wanted to comment on when you said you probably won’t be able to eat in labor. Yes and no. It ultimately depends what hospital you’re at! Some let you some don’t, I’ve had 2 babies. 1 natural and my second I planned* to go natural and it ended in an emergency caesarean. I ate (snacked really) until giving birth with both of them! It caused zero issues even when I went under anesthesia for my emergency cesarean. Because they DO have medicine they will give you if things end up heading for an unplanned or emergency Cesarean section. Now ALL hospitals if you’re getting a planned and scheduled cesarean then obviously you can NOT eat after midnight the day of your cesarean. Hope that helps! :) just call the hospital you’ll be delivering at and ask! They’ll be happy to let you know what their “policies” are :)

I got epidural with my first two births and besides the first part, it was beautiful, peaceful, and joyful. My last birth was so fast that there was no time for epidural, and it was stressful, extremely painful, I felt a desperation that I have never felt before, and I honestly don’t remember much. I am done having kids, but if for whatever reason I get pregnant again I will absolutely request epidural.

“neh” = hungry “eh” = upper wind (burp) “Eairh” = lower wind (gas) this sounds is more noticeable when a baby is 6-12 weeks old. “heh”= discomfort (hot, cold, wet) “owh”= sleepiness these sounds were researched and features on the oprah show! I tell all new moms this because it’s like learning baby cry language! Also, check out Robert C. Hamilton’s video on youtube about the magic baby hold! It immediately calms a newborn/infant and is very handy. ☺️ love, mom of 2 (ages 6 & 4)

It is always fun seeing you two together!! maybe when babies are older y'all might be able to do a girls trip with just the two of ya and let the hubbys have daddy time with the kids. Also that lightning crotch is no joke! Way worse than ligament pain imo. I legit had that same response everytime it happened my first pregnancy.
NO shame in an epidural. My first 4 were natural BUT #5 I was in false labor for DAYS and the epidural was sooo nice. No judgments we all get to make that choice.
Those were Crepe Myrtle's Mindy. They are common up here in NC They are BEAUTIFUL and can get large if you let go. My neighbor has one that is taller than his house.

Babies don’t just cry to cry. It’s their communication. There may be nothing you can do for them but their cries always mean something.
Usually, but some babies have colic which is inconsolable crying.
