My husband passed away over three years ago. His passing took such a toll on me. I feel so alone. I’m facing homelessness. I recently lost my job due to my failing health (heart attack) and because I declined the vaccine. I only declined because I have had horrible reactions to the flu shot in the past I literally had to be hospitalized. I also have lupus. Since losing my job I’ve been struggling to provide the basics for my children. I’m so ashamed and embarrassed. Struggling to buy food will humble you believe that. But I continue to keep my faith. I studied in Ramakrishna Mission Vidalaya, Narendrapur. Part of our social studies was a book "To the youth of India" by Swami Vivekananda. All of us at Ramakrishna Mission have been inspired by it.
There is much more to vivekananda than this....we don't see him as a monk atleast me but yeah I see him as one of the most intelligent person ever existed in history
I had privilege to live an hour away from the Ramkrishna Ashram. I have visited the place countless times. There is a huge hall where ppl just go and sit quietly. I have sat in the hall for hours all through my growing up and never met anyone who doesn’t feel the spiritual radiation in the hall.
Swami Rama Krishna was the biggest devotee of Godess Mahakaali. When he sit on dhyan every morning and evening he put a ladu(a Indian sweet which is usually use as bhog) in his hand and sit untill devi get her bhog. Thats why swami Vivekanand impressed by his spritual powers and he accept him his guru otherwise swami Vivekanad was always against false karmakaands.
I and my media process followed my mother's instructions to send her regular contribution to Ramakrishna Ashram Kolkata and looked after her till age 93. Vivekanand was the first to shake the West. Many gurus followed and the Vedic wisdom will guide the world in future. Keep your efforts going. Great for humanity
