@@ohgary well, you just probably don't follow magic as an art form. Im not a magician myself, but have been a fan of magic for few years now. I know how most of the televised tricks are done, and it brings me more appreciation to the artists and their presentation. In this video, there are mostly classic tricks, easy to understand but extremely difficult to apply.
I was in school with one of Johnny's kids. It was amazing he would come perform periodically and it was always amazing. He was always so sweet, and every time we would run into him in town, he would always stop to chat
When my daughter was 13 and knew it all, I took her to see Johnny Ace Palmer at Zachs. When we were waiting for the show to start she declared "There is no such thing as magic". After she signed a card and he made it stick to the ceiling, she was impressed. By the time he finished his act with the cups and balls, she was wide eyed, flabbergasted and no longer a know-it-all! Thanks Johnny!

Johnny Ace Palmer - Best of Best !!! Absolute Master - Sleight of hand and Entertainment !!! He proves every time that he's FISM Grand Prix Winner !!! Love him, met him in person and saw him Live !!!
John was just starting out in about 1983 in Tanners at Browns Hotel in the Catskills.when he produced the baby chicks it blew everyone😊 away he is the best.back in the 80 to today.to remain on top that says a lot, thank you
I watched Johnny entertain at a Magic convention in Dallas, TX. back in 1983. As a magician I was impressed by Johnny, but it was his appearing bottle that stuck with me for 40 yrs.. We can all learn from Johnny, a great entertainer.
Very true, and he was so nice to everyone at this holiday party. After the show was over he literally took time out of his Saturday (during the holiday season, no less) to chat with one of the employee's husbands, just shooting the breeze. Very nice and talented man.
I've done magic for many years at least 20 and I have to say Bravo to Johnny Ace, he is very good. His slight of hands and props he has mastered them well.
Johnny Ace Palmer is an absolute master. I am inspired by him to work harder and keep studying. Many years ago he used to do walk around magic at Zach's on Ventura in Studio City. I was amazed by him then and that was 25 years ago! Fantastic. Lucky audience that got to experience this live.
Sharpo Wow, me too! Became a regular for years.I recall the ceiling was covered in signed cards. I watched him at Earth, Wind and Flour in Santa Monica as well. Best close up magic I have ever witnessed. Such a great man.
This guy is amazing... a real entertainer would love to have him here in England...I'd hire him to amaze my family and friends... such a great personality... keep up the good work ACE man...
Even though you know how magicians do their tricks never tell them to anyone, respect their work, they might have gone through a lot while choosing this as their passion, their parents might have not supported them for this, they have gone through a lot of practice day and night, and they make people smile. Some people just to show how clever or smart they are goes on to telling how he did the trick but they never tell how much time did it take to get it perfect. If you are one of those and you are that smart then why don't you become a magician. They are the most creative people on Earth and they got a family to feed as well, If you are reading this, I beg you never ever tell anyone how magicians do their magic and that's when you actually become smart and clever.
Yeah, finger dexterity and finger independence doesn't come easy. Those are a definite must have, to perform slight of hand tricks. Hours and hours for just one trick. Though, if you master a couple of slight of hand tricks. I think it should be "easier" to master more of them... (But sure as hell I can't).
People that are "clever" enough to figure out the tricks and tell everyone aren't clever enough to know they are spoiling it for other people or clever enough to know the skill involved. And you are right the practice to make a trick perfect could be years plus like this guy being soo entertaining is another skill in itself.
Well, the very first thing I saw in this video is a ring dangling from his left hand sleeve, which he used to extract flowers. He is certainly a charismatic person and for the most part is a very smooth sleight of hand. But as with all sleight of hand tricks it only works because spectators don't know what he is going to do. If you expect those alive chickens, bottles or rabbits to appear it is not really hard to see, when he puts them in there.
@@blacktigershearthstoneadve6905 I challenge you to do anything that he does but better I guarantee you can't. It's easy to talk and know secrets but magic is not knowing secrets thats only maybe 10% of the effect. Presentation, misdirection, audience management, and so much more is the other half
