Tray mounts has specific sound signature which some may like. The feel is the problem imo
depends on the implementation of the tray mount.
Flexible typing feel is trendy right now. Back in the day firm as possible was the way people wanted it. Everything comes and goes
I hated tray mount with clicky switches tbh, was using a kbd75v2 with box navies and every part of the board sounded different.
