aaron lives for the drums so this is the perfect song for him. and he sings it so pasionatly cause he believes the words he's singing.

Uh... Yes, he does use the bass drum, pothead4203000. He pumps it quite a bit during the song. Frostdeaf specifically said the floor tom, and is probably referring to the fact that you can hear the floor tom being played, but in the video there is none.
