MoonDreamers!! I, actually, watched the MoonDreamers cartoon as a kid and I absolutely loved it! (My old local video rental store had a big kid's section so, they had a MoonDreamers collection available to rent). I think the show only had one season so, yeah, I can imagine the dolls are also very rare. Loved seeing the dolls! I'm too young to have had any of them when they were originally released so, very cool to get a better look at them. (I do think I have some MoonDreamers paper dolls packed away somewhere though!)
Ahh...the MoonDreamers are so whimsical! I love it! Such a shame they only lasted one wave. Seems a lot of thought was put into them.
By the way, how did you like the Moondreamers cassette?

Their concept is so cool and I love their low key 80s sci fi style made in a cutesy way. I love them so much

Was just clearing out my old childhood toys to see if they were worth something to people and found this whole salon set of the lady locks and I had no clue they were so important! Gonna go through my polly pockets too :) I’m excited to sell them to people who can and have the space to cherish and collect them!
On a random note, I noticed you can find rare Megan fashions when you’re looking for Moondreamers stuff online. Since they have the same body type so I’ve come across quite a few Moondreamers dolls with Megan fashions and also Megans with Moondreamers shoes.

I just got two moon dreamers dolls and I have the bear too they are so hard to find. Beautiful little ones though so dreamy
The Moon Dreamer shoes glows in the dark too. It's really cute. You will also see similarities in the faces with Moon Dreamers, LLL and the Kenner/Tonka Cupcake dolls.
Thanks for the comment~ oh that's fun. Sadly I don't have any Moondreamers shoes yet, but it makes totally sense that these glow in the dark, too. Hope I can find some one day. Yes, totally agree. These doll lines share the same soft, innocent, cute look. And Stefanie Eskander has worked on all of the 3 lines. The cupcake doll parfait princesses are one of her favorite creations.
Dame Boucleline IS my childhood. I'd love to purchase the completed Panini album because the artworks are my favorite thing about this line, not even the dolls. Also the little combs are sooooo sweet, I live them too

I am also a fan of Lady Lovely Locks (1987).
I love Moon dreamers too I only have one 2 of the dolls, but I love them so much! To me they look like baby Jem and the Holograms! I also have a small collection of Lady lovely locks and have a few spare dolls and outfits and several gen 1 MLP stuff I will send you the photos and email soon!

TAF Megan is basically an unreleased "Suncatcher" or whatever they were gonna call the next line of Moondreamers. I want their hair picks for my glow 'n shows!! I also have Sparky instead of Meggan so "Meggan" is a mutant like The Dazzler, lol. Hasbro makes Marvel's toys to this day and can steal ideas whenever they want (it amazing how Sparky is wearing Dazzler's exact outfit). Glow in the dark plastic will glow for hundreds of years. She-Ra's Sweet Bee also glows. I have an extra Glimmer wand that I gave to G3 Garden Wishes.

(I'm mostly joking. I watch the heck out of those Christmas movies every December lol. I'm just a massive Rainbow Brite fan and although I have more MLP stuff, and it is likely tied as first, Rainbow Brite will always be my absolute favourite 80s cartoon!)
Yeah, I feel the same thing with Hoops and Yoyo. It was like their version of the Timon and Pumbaa spinoff of the Lion King franchise and they basically forgot about them just so they can focus on their crappy TV movies. Like seriously, I’m not gonna pay to see A Tale of Two Christmas because you clearly gone corporate like how Disney is focusing on their live action remakes over their animated films!
Your video is great! I wish I could show you a picture of my Lady Lovely Locks collection but I don't think the comments allow for it. I wish I could find the Swan boat for a reasonable price. It's almost $1000 in the US! Did you find out yet if it floats?

As much as I like the cartoon, does anyone wish we could of gotten an actual good remake of it with the characters being the quality of the artwork? That always bugged me about the original show, Lady and the others were so beautiful in the illustrations but in the actual show were drawn so watered down and cheap to the point they feel more like bootlegs than the real Lady and the others from the artwork. XD
(As most 80’s Toons it was low budget probably because it would of been too expensive, but STILL, imagine the show being in such beautiful Richard Williams or Don Bluth like quality like the artwork. 😊

Yes, I totally see what you mean. Nothing can beat the extremely beautiful artwork from LLL. The cartoon just looks like all the other TV budget cartoons from the 80s 🤷🏼♀️
But I bet uf they would pick up LLL nowadays for TV or streaming they would turn it into CGI or an even simpler style similar to the Netflix She-ra. So I guess we're good at what we got. 🤣

Do you know if it is safe to wash the moondreamers dolls hair? Im so scared of accidentally ruining mine with the glow in the dark hair!
Also, the outfits! Im so scared of them breaking in water. How did yours turn out, if you washed them? 💕
@@JennyStardust Washing the hair is no problem. Use conditioner as always, it turnes out nice! Washing the textiles is a different story. If it is this metalic/ pleathery material or the glittery tights... don't wash them in hot water. The metallic flakes off. Maybe just soak them in cold water with washing detergent or better leave them as they are.
But the hair does not loose it's glow feature at all.
