here is another video of vintage toy hunting at Berlin flea markets mixed in with the haul.

Yes, when I tried to research them I was really surprised that most of the ones I saw there are pretty special. I probably should have picked up the Nyamy one, too... anyways I'm super happy with my pink monster Monchichi Kicky

As soon as you picked up the little blond baby around 26 mins in, I started screaming, "Quints!" I loved them so much when I was little. You could purchase little sets separately to go with them. They had a pool, some feeding chairs, a bedroom set, all kinds of stuff.
I know there would be some lovers of Quints out there :) It's so odd that I have never come across them, not even as a child or in my collecting days before. Their faces are really sweet. And I loooove that we all have our own favourite toylines that remind us of our childhood.

maybe when you go to that flea market again you will find more interessting stuff from that seller. hopefully they won't sell the ponys before you arrive like the polly pocket lady. I'm really curious how that thing turned out though, but I guess there will be a seperat video about it ^^;
Thanks~ I also like how she turned out 😊 Those Petra clothes look so cool. That's why I also wanted to show them in the video. I've never talked about Petra in my videos but I have this cool Petra Revue magazine and that sparked a lot of memories for me.
I really hope the seller bings more of this stuff 😁 the ponies could easiely be Fakies. But who knows. There could also be a real one in between. I will see when I go there next time.
And yes, there is a dedicated Polly Pocket video😉 but it did not work out as I hoped. 😛 Don't wanna spoil it~ haha
The pink one is called Kicky yes, Wucky is the yellow one and the other purple is also called Kicky the one that had sleeping eyes is a Toho Daisuke and the Nyamys were also produced by the same guy that designed Monchhichi his name was Washino Yoshiharu and he created his own brand under his last name...

Aha, the ones with the round sleepy eyes are called Toho Daisuke. I tried to find out now about Toho Daisuke but I could not find much (except for online sales of them~ haha) Do they belong to Monchichi or are they a sub-brand as well or is Toho the company that produced these? Online I find it really hard to find out about all of these. Everybody calls all of them Monchichi. So the Nyamys aren't technically even Monchichi. Washino Yoshiharu created them separately. Super interesting! Thank you so much
@@LauSkypainter Yes both the pink and purple are called Kicky pink is female and purple is male, they are from 2005-07, Toho is a different Japanese brand competitor to Sekiguchi they still produce toys too, mainly die cast models and Godzilla
@@ThatGuyGabeToo The purple one looks so angry~ haha~ So mine is the female one. I already guessed this because of the 2 tufts of hair. Ah, from the 2000s. So I was correct in thinking they look more modern. So the Toho Daisuke ones are technically also not Monchichis (not by Sekiguchi) and were produced by Toho. So confusing as everyone calls all of them Monchichi online ;P

@@LauSkypainter They are recast from the mold of the Grumplings which were the villains in the American Hannah Barbera Monchhichi cartoon, the American version ones look meaner as they literally were evil monchhichis... 😆
The one you have is from the Japanese stop motion animation and there the “villains” are not really mean they are just a naughty trio that goes around doing mischief... You can watch episodes of both animations here on RUclips if you search for Monchhichi anime...

@@ThatGuyGabeToo Ohoooo~ so it's even connected to the different cartoons. I've read about the different versions (US in the 80s, japanese Anime version, the super new youtube show etc.)There is a stop motion Monchichi show? I should at least watch one episode each of what I can find online.
A villan trio that's not really bad, more mischievious and actually likable? Sounds to me like Roketto Dan/ Team Rocket from the Pokémon Anime ~ haha :P My favorite type of villans
Das erste war ein Nyami Kätzchen. Ein etwas späteres Konkurrenzprodukt zu Monchhichis. Die sind jetzt sehr gesucht. Ich habe aber meine 5 aus der ersten Serie alle noch. So ein Monsterchen habe ich aber noch nicht in der Sammlung.
Ja, das Nyami hätte ich mal auch kaufen sollen~ haha Dachte aber es gehört direkt zu den Monchichis. Gut zu wissen, dass es eher eine eigene Marke ist. Oh du hast welche davon ^o^
