I have tried multiple tools like Wunderlist , ToDoIst etc. but nothing comes even close to MLO. It is an excellent product. However, I didn't like the look and feel of v5 on Windows 10 and rolled back to older version. Maybe it is just me; 5 out of 5 anyhow for MLO.
I love the new look!!! , i use your product since forever (10 years maybe) , couple of year ago o went from a windows enviroment to linux ( I just had it with windows ) , MLO
for windows works perfect with wine , please tell me i can run your new version with wine too. AND guys please remember there are more and more users moving to linux

Is there going to be a way to sync with Outlook calendar like GCal?
When is this going to be available?
1. why sound volume/quality so low?
2. unfortunately new design is not inspiring

4. that's nice that after years of constant users requests there is calendar sync incoming finally, but why only with google?
About the design: I believe the reason why it is not full of "bells and whistles" (even though I personally like it) is because they would slow the hell out MLO once you reach a certain number of tasks. So better to keep it "clean"
Autosync has been there for quite a while (File, Synchronization, Edit, and check "sync automatically this cloud profile").
You can sync Google calendar with a countless number of different calendar apps, so I think it was smart to focus only on it and not waste time and resources trying to implement synchronization with other calendar apps (actually it would have been quite disappointing since I would rather have them working on a Linux version or new features on the Windows one Lol).
What calendar app do you use? Maybe there is a workaround.
If they do decide to add continuous synching, I hope they still allow for manual synch. Continuous would drain my batteries and eat up my data allowance. The program would become more cumbersome.
Please add the ability to sync "Views" between the mobile and desktop apps. It would improve the user experience by making switching between platforms more seamless. If anything, people expect such things to sync in an app that features "cloud sync" in 2018, and it's confusing that they do not sync. In modern multi-platform apps, the UI may differ substantially between the mobile and desktop apps, but the data organization structures are almost always identical and usually sync to the cloud just like task and project data.
It's a real letdown to have to manually maintain a separate version of the same "View" on desktop and mobile. It'll likely result in confusing situations where you've changed a view on one platform, but you've forgotten to manually make the equivalent change to the corresponding view on the other platform. You'll be left puzzled as to why the same view shows a different set of tasks on mobile vs desktop, and you may even erroneously assume it's a sync error.
I'm currently doing a free trial, and MLO is otherwise the project management app most suited to my needs, but this may ultimately force me to look into other options. The lack of sync here just feels incredibly dated and inconvenient. Being that there's no web app and "Cloud Sync" is being sold as a separate subscription in addition the the individual price tag of each individual app, the least MLO could do is offer the type of sync that users have come to expect.
I'm very disappointed about this, but I hope that a modern sync feature for "Views" and all other shared settings will be added in v5, so I'm not forced to look elsewhere.
I found the video incomprehensible. I couldn't understand the accent, I'm afraid, so I turned on close captions only find subtitles like "synchronization with the Vichy" but since WWII ended decades ago, that doesn't really help. And so much information is presented with ZERO background that it's a bit like hearing, "With version 5 you can bloobleblack!" (I made that term up as an example) but since there is little to no explanation of what "boobleblack" is or what it's for, I'm left with nothing but confusion.

I'm missing a lot here. For instance, the video is all excited about doing "Task Review" but doesn't tell us what "Task Review" actually is.

It means that you will not pay for ANY upgrades for at least 6 months.

Be warned, there has been zero update on this, they're still missing the majority of help videos, zero support etc.
So Markdown is a coding language we have to learn in order to format our notes???? Just include a Text Editor with icons for Title, Bold, Underline, Bullets, etc. I'm not interested in becoming a coder just to do simple formatting.

Spoken like a coder. I looked at your blog - 4 pages of things to remember as opposed to clicking a button with B for Bold font. A friend recommended this app to me and even then warned me that it can be an overwhelming learning curve. That is my concern. Even a powerful user-friendly, intuitive app can take a while to learn but when there's a big need for keyboard shortcuts and coding languages it just makes the task even more onerous. Color me skeptical.

We are going to release MLO 5 as soon as possible but there is no exact date. However we decided that if you purchase MLO 4 now, you will get MLO 5 for free even if we delay the release for more than 6 months from now. So there is no reasons for you to hold off on purchase of MLO.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. Everyone has their own point of view and benefits the MLO app can bring is assessed differently by everyone. We surely understand this.

I bought the previous version.Then I installed MLO V.5. I have to pay full price of the software again version update. There is no free upgrade or reduced pricing if you had the previous version. Also Cloud Sync is separate buy. MLO has a shady business model.
MLO license for each platform requires a one-time payment, the license does not expire. Optional upgrades grant access to new major versions and ongoing support. Minor updates with bug fixes and improvements are free; major updates with new features released as a new product would cost money, but we always offer an upgrade discount. @@mylifeorganized not true, I couldn't down grade when I realized I had to buy license again. Also I paid for full price again as I was "1 week" away from discount eligibility.
