    Learn how to form noun clauses in today's lesson and take the test! Noun clauses are extremely common and learning to include them in your speaking and writing will help you sound natural.
    In a nutshell, a noun clause functions as a noun. But, you need a "wh" word plus subject plus verb.

    I got 7 out of 7, thank you for your hard work Arnel. There are also four adverbial clauses, two relative clauses also known as adjective clauses, and a third conditional sentence.
    But about the last one, what are its clauses functioning as?

    Hello Arnel, i really love all your videos. They have helped me in various ways and they are detailed and neatly organized. I have one request based on this video - i felt that maybe could have elaborated bit more on adverb clause or or made a separate video adverb clause. Because in the end when it comes to the answers that are wrong we don't know why they are wrong, what differentiates both of them

      Those three tenses can certainly be confusing! I've made other videos covering those tenses, but I have never compared just those three side-by-side. I'm not sure when I'll be able to get to that, but it's definitely a great topic suggestion.

    Could you please give me an additional explanation about this sentence?

      Excellent score!
      When we PULL something OFF something, we remove the covering.
      Examples:
      He pulled the tarp off the car.
      My mom pulled the blanket off me to get me to wake up.
      He pulled the cloth off what looked like some kind of pie. = A piece of cloth, probably a dishtowel, was covering the pie and he removed it.
