    What a fantastic project!!! It came out fabulous….and Thanks Dad for the help! So much cheaper than the commercial versions. Would love an update now that you have used it a bit. You are fabulous!

      Thank you for the kind words! I use it frequently. I've moved the cabinet twice from room to room. The nails holding the backing loosened with each move, but I was able to nail those back in. Otherwise, I don't regret the way we made it.

    I really enjoyed watching the entire process. You and your dad did an amazing job! I want to make one but on a smaller scale just because I have a smaller space. The fact that you put your own idea on the doors represents who you are and what makes you you. Great job! God bless and have fun crafting!

      Thank you so much for the kind comment! I did have fun with customizing it and have more canvas if I want to change the door design later. Best wishes with your cabinet if you try to make a smaller scale one! You got it!!

    BEAUTIFUL 😍 🤗👍, I very much enjoyed watching your videos. You made and explain every step of the way, the best craft box I've seen so far. Keep up the great job. Your dad and you can come build me one, 😉
    Best wishes.............

      Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Also, your comment made me smile. 😊 Customizing was my favorite part of making the craft box. It felt good to add my own personal touch. Have a great day!

    Looks great! I may have missed this, but how long did this take to complete? You did an awesome job and I love your art on the doors :)

      Thank you so much! Assembling the cabinet (not including the painted characters or resin table) only took an hour and a half. The resin table took 3 days to make and a week to leave alone to fully cure because of its large size. Painting the characters was done over 2 weeks. I wasn't in a rush to get that part done and didn't pay attention to how long it actually took. Cutting and weeding (mostly weeding) the vinyl text took about a half hour.

    How much did you spend on the whole thing?

    • @SimplyJellyJam
      @SimplyJellyJam  Год назад +2

      Hi! At the time, everything cost me $506 USD according to my receipts. A lot of items I bought on sale or with a coupon when applicable (in a cheapskate when I can be). I had already owned a few things like acrylic paints, paintbrushes, and several art supplies, so those weren't included in my cost.
      If you're interested, I listed all the items I bought and a cost breakdown on an old blog post: www.simplyjellyjam.com/post/diy-craft-cabinet
      I don't know if the cost of things increased in price thanks to inflation, or if the cost would be different in other regions or countries.
      I hope this helps!
